I would suggest to not come eat here. We made reservations they ran out of steak. They literally only have 5 entrees and they ran out of 1. They forgot one of our friends food. So we all ate and she was waiting for her food. Service was not great. He would forget our drink order and we were always waiting. I live in New Rochelle, and this was my first time coming here and def the last. Just horrible.

The Michelin nod was well earned; the food was great. The ambience was very nice and my date loved the experience as well. The staff are helpful and friendly but I wish there more. Overall great experience

We stopped in for a date night dinner and got a few things we ended up loving.- the steak entree with shoe string fries we each had was amazing, on par with good steak houses and at a lower price- the mushroom "from the market" dish was very tasty, esp when combined with the steak entree.- we each had 1 spicy tuna, which was out of this world. It's in the "to share" section, it's not a "to share" dish by any means, but the price reflects that, and our waiter pointed that out.Would def recommend those optionsAlthough we didn't have it, another table got the spare ribs appetizer and it looked amazing. The hostess was also very friendly and joked with many of the customers, making sure everyone was taken care of without being annoyingBetween that, the wine, and the candle lit atmosphere made for a perfect date night. If we had any complaints, it was the following:- we also had the crab to-share dish, which was a swing and a miss, nice presentation but not enough crab for the price nor taste, wouldn't order that again- we had reserved a table on the second floor through OpenTable but it was closed and it took a while to get a table on the ground floor because they were pretty busy. But we ended up having a nice drink at the bar before being seated.Other than that. Definitely a great date night, will recommend and go again. (Next time, will get the spare ribs)

I’m not one to leave reviews, especially not a bad one, but I just had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience at this restaurant.I came here for Brunch. The ambiance is nice, service was awful— Upon being seated, I asked a question about a specific item on the menu, it took 15 minutes to get back to me about the details of the dish because our waitress did not know them off hand.Upon her coming back to me with the details, I ordered the dish and specifically asked for a “SIDE of fried eggs” because the dish did not have any protein in it. The waitress then moved on to take my friends order, then circled back with me and asked if I wanted “two eggs or one” and I said yes, actually two is fine.My friends dish came out pretty fast, and out with it came the two eggs. I was waiting around for the main dish I ordered to come out, and it never did. When we mentioned to the waitress that we were waiting for my dish, the waitress communicates she did not put in the order for the dish, then proceeds to gas light me— “ that’s why I clarified whether you wanted one or two eggs“ and asked if I wanted to put the order in now.It was not worth debating over her mistake, and I needed to leave the restaurant at a specific time. She did not come back to the table to see if we needed the check or revisit us before leaving. Another woman came and brought over the check. Why would I come to this restaurant and order two fried eggs? I left frustrated with this interaction and hungry.Again, I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but this whole experience was pretty awful.

I've been to Town House a few times now, and it is currently my favorite restaurant outside of the city. The ambiance is top notch, the drinks are consistently great, and the food is delicious. I've had great experiences sitting down with friends at a table or for date night at the bar. The staff is super nice and helpful, as well, which really adds to the overall pleasant experience. Can't wait to come back!

Tonight we went to the Town House restaurant In New Rochelle. First the food was good but that is were it ended. the waitress abandoned us. We later found out in the middle of service use she was switched to the back. We here left with no service until I called over another waitress. We ordered the Cavatelli with crab meet. The dish that came out was essentially and appetizer size. The glasses of wine were small. As a result of the issue with the wait staff they offered a free glass of wine. I general in my opinion the place is to a total rip off. Under no circumstances was the meal worth the money we paid. In addition I would point out the menu was small which is ok without the other issues. I see no point in returning and wasting my money.

Party of 4 -Everything was out of this world delicious. Chef Chris is a humble genius when it comes to depth of flavors and presentation! Japanese sweet potato appetizer was the star of the show but everything else was on point and so unique. The chicken entree was unbelievably juicy and flavorful. We had a bottle of their red blend also very good. Town House exceeded our expectations. American-Portuguese fare in an ultra modern space.

I've been here for dinner which is excellent. The brunch menu leaves A LOT to be desired. The menu is basic, yet missing variety. I can go anywhere for plain buttermilk pancakes. Also, the ambience/ decor is just ok and that pertains to the very small front of the restaurant. I'm not sure what's going on in the back past the bar and I don't want to see dirty dishes and plates while I'm eating. That section should be completely out of the customers sight especially while dining at a restaurant that supposed to be top tier.

We had a laughably sad and fully regrettable experience. Entrees were so small with little to no sides or garnishes. It was just silly so silly and the sever never let us in on the joke. Ordered a steak and a burger-no bun. Both were listed as entrees. Steak was 2 small slices and they were CHEWY. Steak came with no side, just a small garnish. Burger looked equally ridiculous as it was just patty on a plate with a small bowl of fries on the side. It was quite rare, and topped with a distastefully bitter cheese/caramelized onion/aus jus. We didn't manage more than a taste each but the server did not notice that we could not eat it despite having maybe a total of 14oz of food between the two of us. Hahaha. Also, we had a reservation for the main floor but was seated in the mostly empty second floor lacking in ambience. Asked if we could be seated on main floor and told there were no tables available. It was 1/2 empty and there were 3 tables empty when we left 1 hour later. What a crappy evening.

Food was great but when we arrived they didn't have the correct reservation for us but seated us anyway. Then I got a no show note from open table that was incorrect as we did go and enjoyed our dinner.

Well we had high hopes based on some early reviews and a good feeling when we walked in (cute decor, yummy bread - albeit for an extra fee). Downhill from there. Slow service, ordered three appetizers (cold ribs were returned - no apology, forgettable fried green something or something that they borrowed from a TGI Friday menu and and mediocre cavatelli that arrived 15 minutes after the other two appetizers). We were expecting some interesting cocktails but were surprised by the limited and uninspired menu so we passed. Ordered iced tea instead and were told that this would be the final iced tea on offer (ok???). Weirder…they came sweetened. We returned them because we prefer iced tea just like 99% of the words restaurants serve it.I’d love to finish this review but it’s been an hour and a half and we still don’t have our main courses. And the place is 90% empty. And the waitstaff likes hanging out in the half of the restaurant without people so can’t ask where our food is. Painful.Just received our main courses. Tastes fine but the steak is literally 6 oz. Smallest steak serving I’ve seen that’s not part of an elaborate 10 course menu.Anyway , not worth writing anymore. I’d stay away. Too bad.

Dinner entree limited to 5 selections. Small portions. The best choice seemed to be the $30 bacon cheeseburger.

I wanted to like Town House because I live in New Rochelle and wanted there to be more elevated dining options available in the area. Unfortunately only the prices were elevated, reminiscent of NYC. The menu and concept was far, far below expectations. It was Sunday night and the place was pretty dead. Not even 8pm yet and my party of 2 was one of the only tables. We started w/the $20 spare ribs. It was 2 regular, run of the mill bbq joint,!partially deboned spare ribs slapped on a plate w/some bread and butter pickles. That's $10 per rib. Chili's would've been appalled. The $14 roasted mushrooms were indeed just a scoop of mixed mushrooms. Not much in terms of presentation. They did put cross hatch marks on 2 slices of Prince mushrooms, but all else was a little wet and lacking fire/roastiness. The entrees were actually pretty good. I got the $36 swordfish. The fish itself was cooked well, seasoned well and had hints of acid, BUT the sauce and beans that it sat on was cold. The waitress offered to take it back, but I don't ever send things back fearing a Fight Club treatment in the kitchen behind the scenes...IYKYK. I'm 90% done w/my dish and here's the kicker...I pull a short, light colored hair out of my mouth. I have long black hair, so that was not my hair.
