I have lived here for one year, and this place is amazing. I want to thank Carl; he is very helpful and patient. When I was moving out, he helped me figure out all the complicated procedures, such as how to discard furniture, and held the door for me while I carried some suitcases. He is very responsible! I feel happy to be here!

The apartments are tiny, the concierge guy was extremely nice, but there’s no sunlight even with windows and you’re facing an office building with no other views.

Excellent 2 years Ive lived in this building. Carl at the front desk really made everyone’s day better with his professionalism and friendliness. If you’re looking for a home this is the best place to live in downtown new york.

Kevin Stainback and the team at 10 Hanover could not be more helpful or welcoming! I was in contact with Kevin throughout the weeks leading up to my move in. He made sure I had all of the information I needed and was always available to answer questions. He made the process truly easy! Thank you Kevin and the team ?

No words can describe the leasing agent Kevin. He such a nice, professional, kind and great guy to deal with! He made my move so easy. He is very curteous and polite! He reserved the freight car for my move in to make it quick and simple. I love that. He was very attentive and answered all my questions. Kevin is a gem. As for the apartment, it is newly renovated with new appliances and new floor and new bathroom. WiFi is already incorporated in all apartments which is awesome and it spared me the time to look for a carrier and all that hussle. On the day of my move in, the wifi was already activated. Highly recommend this building and highly recommend dealing with Kevin. Such a wonderful experience!

First let me start with the leasing agent Kevin who is such a sweetheart, professional, friendly and a very kind person you can possibly meet. My experience with him for renting the apartment was such a breeze and easy. He made it easy and simple and reserved the freight car for me to make my move as quick as possible. I am very pleased to deal with him and I'm so excited for my move. The apartment is newly renovated with new appliances and wifi is already incorporated so no headache for me to reach out for any carriers to install internet for me which also is a huge plus. The front desk is respectful and polite. I am having such a positive experience and am loving this place already. Take it from me, if you are to lease at 10 Hanover, ask for Kevin, he will not fail you!

I have been living in the building for almost a year now, and I love my apartment and the building. I want to compliment the people who work here for their exemplary service. Not only are they genuinely nice and friendly, but they also consistently show a high level of professionalism and responsiveness. I have never had any major issues because the building is well maintained. However, if I have a question or concern, it is always addressed promptly, ensuring that I am always comfortable and satisfied. Their commitment truly makes living here a great experience. So, I wanted to thank our super, Mark, and his team for all the great work they do. All the handymen in this building are very nice and hardworking. I would also like to recognize the leasing team, especially Ryan, for his professionalism, knowledge, and genuine commitment to making the leasing process stress-free. I appreciate the resident manager, Debbie, for her genuine care and hard work, as well as Carl, the doorman, who always welcomes me with a smile and warmth. Thank you, guys, for making me feel at home here!

Recently moved in and had a great experience with the entire process. I was greeted by Carl who was super helpful and professional. He was able to make my move a lot less stressful. Wish I can give 7 stars! Our leasing agent Kevin was also great and made the paperwork process simple and was always on top of everything. Starting to get to know more of the entire 10 Hanover team and all seem to be helpful and knowledgeable.

We have absolutely loved living in the building for the past 2 years! From the moment we moved in, Carl has gone above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. He always greets you with a smile. The maintenance team is quick, friendly and efficient and the building feels very safe. Definitely 5 stars!!

The building looks great from the outside, the doorman are super sweet and everything is kept quite clean. The issues with this apartment stem from the ones running it. UDR absolutely sucks as a management and ruined my experience living in the building. Unless you want to argue back and forth with them over what is written in the lease and them say "well that's not what that means" or pay $$$$ for water because of an "up charge" the city had no idea about- I would live anywhere else.In February had a situation with my roommate that violated the lease agreement with police involved, and UDR told me they didn't care, and if I wanted to leave so bad I could buy my roommate out for $8K.... but when i asked why the water bill was $300 in the summer, Katie told me "if you're so unhappy why don't you break the lease at no fee" So I could not leave when my safety was at risk but when i questioned why I was paying almost double than my average water bill i was let out of it? It made no sense! The walls are paper thin I could hear the neighbors alarm go off and dogs barking the entire day. The roof is always locked and yet you still have to pay a fee.Do not even go to management with the issues because everyone in the leasing office is clueless and will tell you 10 different things and never solve your problems but have no issue chasing you for money.Besides the doorman, maintenance men, and package staff This building is a shitshow !!!!!!

We have been living here for the last 4 months while waiting for our house in new jersey to be ready. The staff are absolutely lovely. Carl, Joe, Johnny and Raj have been so helpful especially having 2 children in New York. Can't fault our experience and would highly recommend 10 Hanover Square.

Truly a mediocre experience for a luxury rental price. I lived in 10 Hanover for two years and like many in the building, couldn't move fast enough. Pros:The building staff (maintenance especially) and one doorman (Carl), are WONDERFUL. They are quick to fix things when reported and Carl helps with questions, the door, and generally being a nice guy when you walk into your home. The location is great - very close to subways and the ferry and a quick walk to Battery Park City and even Tribeca.Cons: I'd heard good things about UDR buildings and a friend of mine recommended I check them out. However the 'community' staff don't respond unless you go to their office, they make sure nothing negative is in writing (smart really), and overall make no effort to run the building like a luxury apartment building let alone a home. The building is essentially an expensive airBnB. People come and go with short term leases (3 months or less). And because prices are raised indiscriminately and exorbitantly year after year with little to no room to negotiate, there is constantly someone moving out and in every weekend. The apartments themselves are cheaply renovated and the hallways are consistently vacuumed to their credit but dark and dingy. Walls are PAPER thin - I could hear my neighbor sneeze (and other stuff sigh) and he heard me say bless you and responded with a thank you.Amenities don't exist yet you pay $300 a year for a rooftop with no view, and an office. The gym in the basement is extra and not included in the rent unlike most luxury rentals. Most doormen (almost all) make little to no effort with anything. Anyone and everyone can walk easily into the building any.time.of.day. so it does not feel safe at all. Also I've hobbled in with suitcases, helping others with luggage racks, and just smiling hello and nothing. No movement.Just moved to a TFC building and couldn't believe the absolute difference. Seriously please consider yourself warned. I'd hoped this UDR building would be home but it was just an expensive motel.
