I absolutely love 12 chairs Café. I have been going here for 4 years and it is so amazing. The music though especially at this location is terrible and it is so hard to even get a word across the table. It is way too loud. this is coming from a young girl and I just think it is so so loud.
normally i don’t like reviewing places that i order takeout from because food usually suffers from not being eaten fresh however this was really good. i didn’t order much, just the arayes but they were insanely good. the meat had a nice flavor and there was plenty of it. the bread ended up getting a little soggy on the bottom but it was not bad and still had great flavor. i like taking this to go because i pair it with honey yogurt as a sauce and it’s the best combination....
We came during Hanukkah week and ordered the latkes (with lox and sour cream). Glad we did because they were so yummy - the latkes were perfectly crunchy on the outside and warm and mushy on the inside. Arayes (lamb-filled pita) was also delicious, the lamb inside was seasoned and succulent, all wrapped around this warm pillowy pita.
Only complaint is the atmosphere was not optimal - the place is very small / cramped, so the door would sometimes be left open...
