I just ordered a pizza from the place and the restaurant is closed, the phone is disconnected, and yet somehow they made the effort to make sure my card was charged.
Proper pizza joint, great NY style, suggestion for this place came from Pequods in Chicago. Great flavor, handmade dough, the whole 9.
Solo owner is a hero… gives kids a chance to earn a pizza with a book report and an oral presentation. Tips go for art supplies for kids at the cancer hospital. Outrageous.
Solid pies!
We need more places like this..

I went for the first time last night, the service was incredible and I was treated so kindly. The people who work there are so genuine. I got a few slices and absolutely loved the pizza and so glad I stumbled upon this place because I will be back for sure!

Great pizza, fresh out of the oven. The owner is a pleasure to talk. It was nice to support a local mom and pop business.
Nice local place, with good food. Ordered the Meatball Pizza and it was delicious, save for the chunks of uncooked garlic.
Would probably order another type of pizza, but definitely will order again.

The food was amazing and so was the hospitality. I ordered a truffle mushroom pizza and a pepperoni pie and they didn’t disappoint! ??? give this place a try if you want some authentic NYC pizza. 5/5 stars ⭐️

My husband, John, and I absolutely LOVE 125th Street Pizza in Harlem. REAL New York pizza not commercialized garbage! Plus the owner John Moore has made the shop a true asset to the community. Support this local restaurant by eating his TREMENDOUS pizza! Plus make sure to ask the owner about his literacy program for local children in which he gives kids a free book and asks them to bring back a written book report to receive a free pizza.
Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian options - fresh vegetables and get the pizza with no cheese.
Kid-friendliness: The owner offers kids books to read and return with a written book report to get a free pizza.
Parking: Easy parking on the street
Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian options - fresh vegetables and get the pizza with no cheese.

Just flew in from Florida and had to have a NY pizza slice. Had the tomatoes and garlic pizza for the first time and it was amazing. Will definitely be visiting again. Pizza made with love.
Kid-friendliness: I would say it's family friendly. The owner was very pleasant and he made my day with the other options of pizza he made. Will be back with my family. ???
Despite being by himself, he made our night. Friendly conversation as we waited for our food. Delicious pizza takes time and is well worth the wait.
