If you have money to splash on experimental dishes, try this. They have the French favourites, but also Japanese ones, with some creative ones. Overall, it's high quality dishes that really please the taste buds. The hosts shows you the menu with the - very high - prices before you sit, so as to avoid unpleasant surprises.

What's not to love?? Everybody loves a bomb handroll. I love chatting with the guys behind the counter, and everything is sugarfish quality but at much more everyday prices. If there's no wait, this is a super quick, super easy, in and out way to grab a great meal.

Cousins recommended Tocqueville, they are foodies, saying this is their favorite NYC restaurant. We were not disappointed! The restaurant is elegant, the service is beyond attentive. The menu looked fabulous, it was so hard to choose. The wine list extensive, we shared Prosecco. My husband enjoyed his salad, my soup was fabulous. His fillet mignon & potatoes was wonderful. I loved my lobster. We shared the soufflé's for dessert. I didn't want the evening to end, we have to come back!

REVIEW 15 EAST We literally stumbled upon this fantastic Japanese restaurant that created such a beautiful outdoor dining experience. I noticed the pretty display of colors and beautiful décor from a distance and decided to make this establishment the home of our 35th anniversary celebration. 15 EAST did not disappoint. We started with the sashimi appetizer very delicate and refined, although a bit pricey. ($70) and then went on to have another appetizer a delicious pasta with uni. This was the perfect ending to a lovely dinner…so we thought. The servers graciously surprised us with a delicious anniversary dessert. The servers, I believe one of them was named Miguel were on point, pleasant and were clearly eager to please!!! The hostess was very welcoming as well. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful outdoor oasis!

Japanese food and the feeling at this place is great. Service is prompt even when they are busy. The staff was very friendly and kind. The bill was fair I would say. Reminds me of a place in New York I loved to visit.

I come to this excellent place every couple of days as I like the special atmosphere that is outline this place. The personel is extraordianrillyremarkably welcoming and well trained. The service is exceptionally efficient. Not to mention, the food you get is highly distinguished. I came often and I was always satisfied. The rate is modest. I recommend this restaurant to to all.

Perfect spot for a quick bite of lunch in downtown NY! :) I'm seriously NOT disappointed! The hand rolls were simple, and SOOO AMAZING! I would definitely come back here! The service was also spectacular!Yellowtail was so on point today!
One word - efficiency. Self-servicing line, menus and pencils by line, they take your order right away, key in when they've prepared what roll for whom. Tell you which roll they're putting down as they present it to you. Love it all. Good food quickly for a decent price; yes, please!

Been here three times whenever I come to NY and I have always gotten amazing service and quality when I either dine in or take out. I really recommend it to anyone wanting a fresh sushi or poke like experience.

Had omakase here. Sushi was so good omg I can eat this everyday...Pricey but worth it. Great experience. Showed us fresh shrimp before they made it into sashimi lol it was still moving!
