a young women was the only was working at 930 pm was extremely rude. she would not make a smoothie for my friend, she wouldn’t open the bathroom, and wouldn’t let us sit in the back even though they were closing in an hour and a half. i am very displeased

i love 16 handles ,but it saddens me that they never serve smoothies. I always crave a smoothie, i walk 24 minutes and come to find out "they are out of milk" every single time. do better, serve the people what they want.

The workers are so freakin rude. I asked them if they had nyc cheesecake, i went there since it was mentioned on the website. The worker told me off and was like "if you dont see your flavor over there (machines), that means it isnt there". I didnt even buy anything and left.

16Handles has the best FroYo in the NYC(!) and this store on Amsterdam is by far the very best of all the locations because of the staff who are professional, welcoming, and attentive. The manager is particular is amazing - always "on it" whether training staff or mopping the floors - he sets the example for his staff and they seem to respect and also like him. BUT I am not giving five stars because every time I go there the store is HOT. It is stuffy and hot and really uncomfortable. It even melts the FroYo! Fix the air and you'll get rave ratings. Can't imagine customers coming in summer when it is already hot and steamy INSIDE the store!

I love glace and go very often sometimes twice a week to buy it. The service is great and the staff are courteous and helpful. I always enjoy my experience there and the manager there is especially nice and helpful....and btw the new decorations are gorgeous and make the place look
This place has a decent variety of flavors and toppings. However, I was really thrown off when I went to the toppings area and disturbed a bunch of fruit flies. The fruit toppings (strawberries etc) also did not look fresh, like they'd been sitting there a long time. As a firm believer that the toppings are critical to good frozen yogurt, this is a big dealbreaker for me. I'm still giving it a star because the cashier was nice and I enjoyed the flavors I tried, especially the cookie dough, and liked the giant colorful booths very much fit the vibe for a froyo shop!

Such delicious yogurt! Love NYC froyo! My kids love this place and it's so fun to have them do the handle and get their own froyo. It's like a little activity where actually they talk to me and smile.

I am a devotee of this UWS 16 Handles store because of its demonstrable commitment to customer service, the quality and variety of yogurts (“16") the cleanliness and maintenance of the place, the efficiency of the operation, the professional attentiveness of its staff, the competence of its on-site management. But what differentiates this store from all the frozen yogurt places in the city, is its employees. The owners seem to support the development and advancement of those of their workforce who show an interest in the business. The result is a productive, pleasant staff like Brianna and Andre who are always helpful; Melissa and Sha’nya who are absolute gems; and Lamire who seems to be a leader whose expectations of his staff are no less and no more than what he expects of himself. This level of engaged investment in staff seems rare in a commercial franchise which makes me all the more a fan - I stop by was often as I can not only to treat my palate but also to uplift my mood. I hope the store continues to take care of its staff since they’re the ones who take care of the customers!

A friend had been eyeing this frozen yogurt shop, so we stopped in. Service was friendly, there were vegan and non-dairy options, and we utilized the bar seating along the front window.I'd wanted strawberry froyo, but the handle was out, so I went with a combination of chocolate and tangy. Both were icier than expected, but generally refreshing. I liked that I could add the toppings myself.
