After visiting the Brooklyn Bridge, I stopped by this local bar for a quick break. It's a cozy and welcoming spot, exactly the type of bar I enjoy. From there, you can easily walk to Chinatown. The bar is affordable, has a friendly atmosphere, and is a great place to meet new people.

we came on a Friday night, it’s such a great atmosphere to share with friends. The drinks are great and a very good price. We didn’t get to eat here but it looked like good snack food. Very much recommend for a chill night 👍🏻👍🏻

Had brought some family from out of town here later in the night. The bartender was a complete snob, who publicly berated me for not giving him a big enough tip and refused to continue serving him. My cousin who forgot to tip, had me give him the tip and wanted to apologize. Once I brought over the tip he said it was too late and will not serve people who don't tip on principal. Mind you shouting so much the bouncers came in to see what was going on. There are a lot of better options, easily, its hard to find a bad bar in LES. But its easy if you avoid 169.

There is not much food at this bar, so if you are looking for a bar that can offer food at all times, look elsewhere. Service is okay. The music is always super loud. There is backyard space if you want to avoid the noise and settle in a chill space (the only plus). Lastly, the bouncer is the reason I’m definitely not coming back. He is very rude, very annoying with the ID situation. He looked at my ID, then back at me like I can’t be the age that it states on my ID. (I do look a bit young for my age, but my case isn’t serious and it shouldn’t warrant this kind of behavior from him.). Also, his behavior toward my friends was very disgusting (he is the black bouncer who is usually by the door). This bar should re-evaluate the kinds of people they hire to handle others in these kinds of spaces. Until then, I’m not recommending this establishment to anyone.
Got recommended this bar from my older brother. We traveled 45 min to get here and they refused all of our drivers licenses. Had a group of 8 ppl everyone 23-24 and they bouncer was acting very egotistical and refused to give us any reason why he “ didn’t like “ our ids. Said we need new ids to get in but all of us have valid ids. Rlly reccomend going somewhere else. Would never reccomend traveling to get here

One of my new favorite spots!!!! Amanda is helping me and she's great!!! Just found myself a new Gem in LES. Great atmosphere and vibes. Customer service is on point. I would suggest this bar to anyone. Ask for Amanda on Tuesday nights and Thursday days , tell her David & Goliath sent ya. 5 star service. And there's a pool table in here as well!!! I'm in heaven right now. Thank you Amanda for being such a sweetheart and delight. ALSO, Tati another amazing bartender who is fierce and hospitable !
