You go into this place thinking that you are going to feel like you are in the days of old, classic NY. The only thing this place feels is out of touch. The staff are incredibly rude and pretentious and the people who were sitting in in the bar were the same. To be brutally honest, it felt a lot like a boy's club, where no one wanted to acknowledge that it is 2020 and times are a changing.

It’s ok. My friend was impressed on her 1st visit to Manhattan. She was impressed, I wasn’t. I don’t see the hype. It’s a bar below street level with men in suites. I went by a few times for ofc lunches. Food is ok.

This is a sad day for NY. The 21 club closing down. One of the last classiest places in NY. Its a shame what the moronic politicians did to this great city. It will never be the same and my wife and I will probably never visit NY again....EVER.

This is one place in New York City, where you only get in if you know someone, and it is top of the line everything. The Wine and Food are Excellent.

Amazing, best steak I've ever had. The atmosphere is stunning. We sat next to the owners of the Atlanta Dodgers. Very pricey but worth a one time experience.

club 21 is a place steeped in history and recognition. continues to maintain its spirit of place with style, genuine and welcoming. their dishes are elaborate and excellent. one of the best places in the world to have a Level-10 dry Martini !!!! a place that I always visit in NY and where I feel at home.

With the disappointing close of the 21 Club, I decided to write a review about my overall experience at the restaurant. The 21 Club finds a way to stand out, unlike any other restaurant, from the intricate decor to the excellent food, and everything in between. I will miss the 21 Club greatly, after coming to America this was one of the first restaurants that had reminded me of home. The staff enrich the experience within the restaurant and make sure your needs are met in every way. Their filet mignon was of the best quality I have had. It's clear that they cared about what they were making and how they were doing it. The 21 Club will be missed.

Went here before a performance so we had the pri-fix theatre menu. Food was very tasty and elegant and service was great and prompt. Overall a great dinner. The interior is cool but it's perhaps a tad tight between tables.

We were extremely sad to hear about the closing of the 21 Club. Our family from around the country has united at the 2:00 PM Christmas Eve dinner for the last 15 years. It was something that was the greatest tradition. We don’t even know where to begin looking for a place to bring us all together. It was that special. The ceiling of the bar has always been a favorite I spy for kids growing up. We always took a special Christmas picture in front of the restaurant that was decorated with those awesome 1920s Art Deco light fixtures. The food was simple but delicious, overpriced and expected. The serving faces have always been the same Over the holidays. We just will miss it terribly! Hoping somebody takes it over to keep it running into the future as it’s a very special , iconic location of New York City. This Covid crisis has ripped the spirit out of the city, and leaving massive damage collateral on all of our favorite institutions. I pray for the light at the end of the tunnel that life will get back to normal sooner than later and restaurants and all the wonderful staff will feel safe again. Here is a special salute to all of you awesome hotel and restaurant personnel that your city loves so much. We will be there to support you and return to our outdoor going lifestyle, as soon as this craziness stops.Andrea

This old restaurant is a 7 or an 8 or whatever wonder of the man made world.

Letting 21 close is a stab through the heart of NYC history. The city or some private Equity firm needs to step in and preserve this jewel! Hell, Id run it like a pro if given the shot! Before this place is turned into a Dunkin Donuts the powers that be need to act!!!!
