It looks like every other bodega in the city. But you walk in and you find staff that treat you like the most important customer in the world. Grill cooks who remember your order when you come in. It's places like this that make me love New York. Whether I'm getting my weekday morning bagel, a quick afternoon snack or a late night munchie fix, the guys at 292 are always there to help and make you feel like this is your neighborhood. And the lunchtime paninis are PACKED so full they're like two meals in one and they're so cheap I don't know how they're making any money off of them. Seriously - they say don't judge a book by its cover, I say don't judge a bodega by its storefront. This place is an asset to the Harlem neighborhood.

I was only there to pick up mints...I could not believe how long the line was!! They need a second window or a faster worker! They do have EVERYTHING you might need in this deli, but 25 minutes for tic tacs was NOT ok!
