I tried to buy planters peanuts 2 for a dollar price that was printed on the package that lady cashier wanted $1.75 for each. Shark store.

2 years ago, I wandered into this corner food market, and had one of the most amazing breakfast sandwiches ever. I knew I would be near the location again this year, and I had to hit it again, in hopes it was still in business. I was happy to see that they are alive and kicking! This has all the commons of a corner bodega, the grab and go, the lotto, random incidentals, and oh yeah, bangin' food! The interior does not have seating, but has a simple to navigate flow in and around the deli counter to the register. The deli counter though, and the food boards...oh hiiii. Many kinds of sandwiches, subs, and everything else imaginable is here! Walking through the line, snagged some spicy dill pickle chips, and peeped the Buffalo Chicken Parm panini - it looked awesome! The panini was full size, pressed bread crispy, and the buffalo chicken with the mozz was divine! The pasta salad was decent as well. Quick service, with a very busy location but not a feeling of being rushed.

Extremely clean and not congested for a NYC deli. Eaten there twice and the food did not make me sick—so for that fact alone, I’m giving it 4 stars—Prices are comfortable compared to Florida prices.

prices are not clear. i subbed chicken salad in a tuna salad wrap. asked for avocado. they treated it like an addon and the cashier debated w me about it, ready to argue. tuna salad wrap includes it and the cashier said it did not. please don't drive away customers over a petty $1.50 extra....

The new girl at the register that they hired is a thief! Just like so many other corner delis in NYC. These people are cockroaches. The sign says 5$. The lady told me no, prices are up and it's 6$. Then she punched into the register $5.50. They do this to every customer and make 100s of dollars extra that they split or pocket. Next time I go here I'm stealing and I recommend others to do the same. If they steal from you, take it back from them.

The line is long at lunch. Because the food and service is great. I frequent this place regularly.

I have passed the 37th Street Food Market many times when walking around the neighborhood and stopped in for a quick lunch before heading home. The place is really nice, and it looks like it had just been renovated. I had a Chicken Parmesan Panini which was very good. It was not what I expected it to be but I still enjoyed it. It was a premade sandwich that was made of chopped chicken cutlet, mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce. It was pretty good and very filling. Everything coming out of the kitchen had a nice appearance and was freshly cooked. What was nice is that on a sunny day they have outdoor seating so I enjoyed my sandwich on the side tables and watched the world go by. This little deli is a nice place for lunch.

Minimum charge for credit card use so I couldn't get a bottle of water on a sweltering hot day. Funny cuz they have a sign at the register that says contactless payments preferred. This bs policy is illegal per city and credit card rules. I tried supporting this local business but they were also very unfriendly so I ended up going to the Duane Reade next door. I recommend you do the same.

Usual breakfast stop for me when I work in the neighborhood. Basic deli fare, but well done. My usual is the classic bacon egg and cheese on a roll (with hot sauce), and the eggs are always cooked perfectly, and the bacon is generous. Friendly staff. Love this place!

Ordered a simple Ham Egg and Cheese on white TOAST with salt, pepper, ketchup and mayo. Received it on an untoasted ROLL with no salt, pepper, ketchup or mayo in sight. C'mon this is New York. We don't have to work in a deli to know 'SPK' or even 'SPKM' for Ham Egg and Cheese. Get with the program. What a shame.
