I live in the neighborhood and go to this deli at least once a day. The morning/afternoon guys know me and are always nice and friendly. They all know how I take my coffee and how I like my sandwiches, and both are the best and least expensive in the city. They make great breakfast - the pancakes and omelets are tasty, and the portions are big. The small order of home fries are so good, and last me 2 days. The sandwiches are not skimpy at all, everything tastes fresh, and the prices are incredible. They sell pretty much anything you need and are open 24 hours. It's a wonderful little neighborhood bodega.
I live nearby and work nearby at a day-hab with young adults with special needs. The guys here are so nice and so patient with us. It’s incredible. When students are there buying food they take it as an opportunity to learn independent living skills; even things like counting money. These guys are like saints with us.
Not only that, when I go there myself, the guy behind deli counter will tell me what’s the freshest and what he’s just made.
Go here. If not for the good food, because they’re good people.

Good late night beer spot- paid 3,5-4$ per IPA- very fair pricing and decent selection.

Not the place to stop, extremely overpriced
Nice sandwich, fresh bread, decent portion. But they could do well with being more friendly.

I eat here every morning sometimes twice a day if I get a chance. My guy Louie makes the best grilled chicken, spinach, avocado and onions on a platter. Which is a special plate I order to lose weight and the weirdest thing is I have time ordering that at any other deli. It’s either I get a cold chicken salad or something completely different.
Dietary restrictions: I try eating a low carb diet and also want to feel full Louie makes what I need all the time

Dealt with appalling rudeness from an older Middle Eastern man. He said he couldn't make a chopped cheese due to grill cleaning which was fine, So I settled for a $10+ tuna sandwich on a hero sub – only to receive a tiny amount of tuna. When I questioned the serving size, I was faced with a very aggressive response and argumentative behavior. Even the cashier apologized for this unacceptable behavior. I told him to keep the sandwich and watched him scrape the tuna off the bread and back into the container - disgusting. Until these issues are addressed, I strongly discourage anyone from choosing this establishment. Tiny portions and bad service.

Bad attitude from sandwich employee. very mad for no reason
reliable spot great sandwiches and better prices than other delis around
The truth is, these people sell everything very expensively, something that the city should check.
