I eat here every morning sometimes twice a day if I get a chance. My guy Louie makes the best grilled chicken, spinach, avocado and onions on a platter. Which is a special plate I order to lose weight and the weirdest thing is I have time ordering that at any other deli. It’s either I get a cold chicken salad or something completely different.Dietary restrictions: I try eating a low carb diet and also want to feel full Louie makes what I need all the time

Dealt with appalling rudeness from an older Middle Eastern man. He said he couldn't make a chopped cheese due to grill cleaning which was fine, So I settled for a $10+ tuna sandwich on a hero sub – only to receive a tiny amount of tuna. When I questioned the serving size, I was faced with a very aggressive response and argumentative behavior. Even the cashier apologized for this unacceptable behavior. I told him to keep the sandwich and watched him scrape the tuna off the bread and back into the container - disgusting. Until these issues are addressed, I strongly discourage anyone from choosing this establishment. Tiny portions and bad service.

The truth is, these people sell everything very expensively, something that the city should check.

I don’t understand what the bad reviews are about. Probably people who aren’t from the neighborhood. This is a great deli and their food is fresh.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The individual at the register on Sunday, October 2nd was incredibly rude, hostile, and beyond unprofessional to customers and potential customers. My father and I stopped by (even though I warned my father not to stop at this run down looking deli). My father asked for a regular coffee (he did not say to add sugar). The man grunted and picked out a cup poured some day old looking coffee and then began to pour way too much sugar. We told the guy politely to please make another one because my father did not ask for sugar. The rude guy said you didn’t stop me sooner you get this. At that point I told my dad that we should just leave since there’s better coffee shops that do not look disgusting like this deli with quality coffee and not old cheap coffee. To the guy that is at that register (whether you just are an employee or the owner) learn to be respectful and treat your customers in a respectable manner. Unless, you don’t mind losing potential customers and a business.Potential customers- look elsewhere. There’s a stump town coffee shop, prodigy coffee and even a Starbucks in proximity. These are way better and the employees will treat you in a professional manner. You don’t need to waste time at this place because the owner/ employee is disrespectful, rude, unprofessional and keeps the place in such a disgusting condition.

Had this place rated at five stars for months, but I have to update just based on what feels like a little bit of dishonesty. This place is already really expensive. But it’s a bodega, and they often are. Their sandwiches are priced on the menu, they have a paper handwritten sign that says everything is a dollar more expensive due to inflation, fine. This week I got a turkey egg and cheese breakfast sandwich… Priced at 3.95 on the menu. So I expect you to pay under six bucks with tax. I was charged over eight dollars! That’s DOUBLE the menu price.
