Great New Year’s Celebration at Margaritaville Times Square. Ball Drop Room. Party at the LandShark. Magical Times.

We stayed here this past weekend. What a great place. The staff were extremely hospitable! From the time we checked in until we left- we encountered nothing but upbeat and friendly staff. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The location is great to get to many of the big attractions in the city. My family and I had a wonderful visit!

They charged me $27 for a margarita because I asked for mezcal instead of regular tequila. If you’re going to upcharge me, maybe let me know?

I had a great time at Margaritaville in NYC at first. Great location, loved the aesthetics, and it seemed well kept. The day before checkout my daughter and I woke up and found a dead roach in our bed and a roach dropping near our pillow. Front desk offered us a bottle of water and told us it would be inspected. After being inspected I was told they couldn’t do anything for us, as it turned out not to be an “infestation” which we never claimed it to be. And that it was a beetle not a roach. I’m from Florida, I’ve seen roaches. But at any rate it was an unwanted bug and bug dropping in bed with my daughter and I.

Great spot for a rooftop view if you are new to town or have some people visiting. Food was meh. Not bad, just meh. Drinks were good and not horribly priced as Manhattan can sometimes be. It was pretty busy, but we were able to snag an outdoor sofa pretty quickly.

The view is amazing! I had a wonderful time here. The bartender was great! The drinks were good too :)

By the time I got there (~10:45pm) the kitchen was closed, so do keep that in mind if you want something to eat while you drink.

No ambiance, it was dead on a Friday night.
So we moved to Margaritaville same owners same building: Mediocre drinks, small, bad service (I sat at the bar for more than 30 min before I was acknowledged and it took another 20 min to get the drinks we ordered) high prices. It’s a chain and there zero care, go somewhere else.
Same thing at land shark.

My brief stay became truly memorable with a visit to the 5 o'Clock Somewhere Bar. The charcuterie board was a work of art, with each selection thoughtfully paired with a rich, velvety Pinot Noir. What made the experience special was the tranquil outdoor setting—I found myself lost in the moment, soaking in the fresh air and scenic views, a perfect escape from the world. The staff's warmth and attentiveness enhanced the experience, making me feel like a valued guest. Whether you're seeking solitude or a quiet moment with friends, this spot offers the ideal retreat to relax, savor, and indulge.
