5 o'Clock Somewhere Bar - Times Square

Read on Tripadvisor and Google about how they steel money $500 from your creditcard by saying you smoked on the room. And we do not even smoke. They also made reservations of $500 and $182 without answers. Please check the reviews and go somewhere else!!!!!

Server forgot one order - kids meal came after adults finished most of their meals, had to go and find server to request drink refills

Disappointing. I should start off by saying I did not have high expectations for a hotel chain restaurant but thought it would at least be adequate considering the brand's reputation. I thought wrong. My daughter and I had traveled all day and were tired and just wanted to eat and go to our hotel room. We were able to get in pretty quickly with a reservation on open table. We arrived 5 minutes late but it didn't matter because they weren't ready for us and we had to wait an additional 15 minutes. Once seated we did not have to wait too long for our server to take our order and for us to receive our food which was nice. The food though was laughably bad and overpriced. I had the nachos and while there was plenty they just were not good. The chips were a weird mix of burnt and soggy and the toppings scarce. My daughter ordered the steak bowl which was on the small size and bland tasting (the steak bowl she ordered from chipotle the night before was easily twice the size had half the price). I did though enjoy my margarita. The server checked on us once during the meal and then kind of disappeared. I did manage to flag him down to ask for our check which arrived about 20 minutes later. I should point out the place was not super busy. My daughter and I will be staying at the hotel for the next 4 days but will definitely we going elsewhere to eat.

Stop in restaurant and was told to go to the roof if we were just drinking. We went to the roof and were told the servers come to us don't go to the bar to order it's not busy. The servers never came. We left after 20 minutes. We sat right in front of the large open bar window, while the service chit chatted with each other. The view is great!

5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar in Times Square is a stylish rooftop spot with great views of NYC, especially beautiful at sunset. It’s a fun place to hang out with friends. We didn’t try the food, but the drinks were decent. Worth a visit for the vibe and the views.

Great food and great drinks and plus the game was on it was more awesome too bad for the knicks I'm a Celtics fan Gang Green

Parker might be the greatest waiter I’ve ever had. Definitely made the experience.

Atmosphere was great, classic Margaritaville fun vibe. Food good no complaints. Service poor. Overall problem unfortunately with being short staffed more the bigger issue, but even with the server we got we had to ask for drinks after taking our dinner order. Further had to ask for dessert menu after dinner. No effort to upsell especially when I had noted it was my daughter's birthday. Not crowded just low key no effort. The hotel was fantastic, super clean, very accommodating staff.

I’m so happy Margaritaville has come to NYC! It is definitely worth the trip! Our experience was wonderful and Dom was great!

The cocktails are great and the beer is very cold! I can't speak about the food, as we didn't eat. Nice atmosphere and OK price for New York.

We had a great time! Food was ready in fast and it was delicious! The Mango berry drink I ordered was amazing. 2nd time at Margarita Ville. Totally recommend.

Food was delicious. No bar tender for the first hour of eating was not ideal. But the servers professionalism made up for it.

We were able to make a reservation for tonight and received multiple reminders and confirmations and when we arrived we were informed there was a private event and they treated us like we were morons that we thought we had a reservation! We are very disappointed! Thankfully we were able to get into a wonderful restaurant around the corner that was very welcoming!!
