Food was horrendous, like horrible.

The steak was undercooked and tasted old as if you don't want to throw away steak meat so you keep it for another event.

Had a major issue with them charging a 20% gratuity, gratuity is based on the customer's experience, not what revenue a vendor wants to earn per table.

I spoke to the mgr. and stated that a mandatory gratuity is illegal. If that is the case you would need to notify customers prior to dining. I'm clear on NYS restaurant laws, and they are trying to rob people based on their profit margin.

We paid the gratuity we felt was suitable based upon the service and it was not 20%.

They were filming customers for online footage, in order to do that legally each patron would need to sign a waiver, which they did not disclose at any point that filming would take place and how/where the footage would be used.

The bathroom was extremely disgusting, that alone this venue needs to be shut down.

Absolutely shocked that the operating practices at this venue were this horrendous.
NEVER AGAIN!

There are too many bars that have great vibes and service in NYC. Don’t waste your time or money here.

A great night club ish place for people to enjoy and hang out in. I was there for Santa-Con so the place was obviously packed. Nonetheless the music was great but th space was a little small.

Went for a holiday party. Food very good and plentiful. Wide variety of drinks. 2 floors with intimate seating area coach's and comfy chairs. Great for hanging out and talking with friends .

Wonderful experience at 5th & Mad. Our server was attentive and flawless from the moment we stepped into the building. It’s a sports bar and restaurant elegantly wrapped into one. The variety of spirits and dishes at an accessible price point 5th & Mad means you’re set up for a quality time at a stylish spot.

It was a really cool bar. The only downside was it was very quiet but maybe I went when it was very slow.

So. So loud. Anything enjoyable is killed due to the ear crushing volume.

Went to watch the Buckeys game as this was advertised as the Alumni Bar in NYC. IT WAS PACKED with Buckeye fans. Although we had a reservation Holding and not confirmed since we were only two people, they would not seat us. We found a spot to hang out upstairs in the back and although had to break our necks to watch the game on the TV we had a great time.

Honestly one of the most beautiful and cool sport bars in the city. The food is phenomenal, the wings are to die for. The drinks are amazing, and the biggest shout out to the bartender Wellington, such a great experience thanks to him! We are definitely coming back and will be recommending this bar to everyone! Thank you and great job!
