The guys behind the counter were so nice! Best sandwiches of the 3 plantegas we’ve been to- more filling, and they even offer a hoagie if you want a bigger portion then just the sandwich on a roll (2$ more- very much worth it).

I stopped by to see the bodega cats and the owner was so kind to bring out Simba (one of the shop’s cats) for me to see. The owner was nice and he wished me well on my trip. Best deli I’ve been to so far.
Overcharged me, caught that cashier add a whole $1 to a $5 charge. Ny tax is t that much, caught her red handed. Wont even give you a receipt.

now let me explain on why am I giving this deli a 1 star. One is the cashier is very unprofessional, we had to wait for her to finish making her sandwich on the grill to assist us , that's one long line btw.two would be her attitude when speaking to you. my last and favorite one is she OVERCHARGES YOU . I CAUGHT HER TWICE AND SHE SAID "OH WELL SORRY" AND WENT ON and spoke in her language. she had to refund me twice!!!!there's a new cook every week, the current one is so nice and attentative but you will find arguing with the cashier, he mention to us that he almost had 24 hrs working on his feet because they can't find another cook to work there due to dealing with the CASHIER>shame! overall the store would never amount to the MIDTOWN DELI . NEVER! hoping that the owner re thinks his cashier ethics before someone reports HIM to the CITY!!!!!
