From the moment I walked in 787 Coffee, the vibes were on point.
First off, a huge shoutout to my barista, Noelle! Her energy and attitude were absolutely fantastic—she made the experience feel so warm and welcoming during this very cold weather. It's rare to find someone who can make your coffee and your day better at the same time.
And let’s talk about the soundtrack! The NEW Bad Bunny album was playing, which, let’s be honest, is basically a love letter to Puerto Rico. The music set the perfect mood and made the experience feel even more special. You can’t beat sipping on a perfectly crafted coffee while being immersed in the culture and heart of the island through music.
Overall, everything about my visit—Noelle, my coffee, the music, and the atmosphere—was just perfect. If you haven’t been to 787 Coffee yet, what are you waiting for? Highly recommend it!

A TINY HOLE IN THE WALL packed with a HUGE PUNCH of FLAVORS. We were greeted by Francisco, who was pleasant, patient and knowledgeable. The place has a nice vibe. You can purchase 787 merchandise, which gives them a sense of Puerto Rican pride. The coffee was excellent. They have rum and whiskey infused coffees. The quesito was mouth watering… I should have gotten two. Make sure you pause to enjoy the coffee while you take advantage of the photo op on the swings. Worth the trip all the way from Chicago!

Love this place! Super cozy, coffee is amazing & their empanadas are to die for! They have lots of different options for coffee such as rum, whiskey infused coffee which tastes amazing and I definitely recommend! The staff is super friendly, Francisco was very kind and helpful! The coffee was phenomenal—rich, smooth, and full of flavor. You can tell they take pride in sourcing quality beans. I also tried one of their pastries, which was fresh and absolutely delicious. The space itself had a cozy, laid-back atmosphere with just the right amount of energy. It’s perfect for catching up with a friend or getting some work done.
I left feeling inspired and already planning my next visit. If you’re in New York and love great coffee, 787 is a must-visit!
