One of my favorite spots in the city. Famous for its long history and its bookmark within the film industry. Definitely the place to take friends to have a drink and meet new people. Located in the Lower East Side it’s surrounded by many different restaurants so you’ll always have a place to eat.

This is a solid destination for a pint of beer. They have a terrific selection of taps, a full bar & margs by the pitcher. I think they have about a dozen TV's (with the sound off) for your viewing pleasure. This place has a lot of regulars. It's no frills & that is perfectly fine with me.
Service from Leslie behind the bar is top notch. She knows what every regular drinks & always has it ready for them.

Went to visit today as it’s the bar out of S&TC Blown away by the atmosphere and the decor and the friendly lady behind the bar (we went on a Wednesday afternoon) thrilled with the American dive bar feel.. didn’t want to leave
I spent many a night here in my twenties, we actually rang in the year 2000 here. So much whiskey and too much coke. The place looks exactly the same as it did back then.
