The only reason why I gave a couple of stars was cause the waiter was very nice! I ordered the Boca Chica (red snapper) and I was very disappointed! The fish had no taste and I could smell the oil it was fried in! The macaroni salad was heavy in mayo/cream.. even the bread tasted bad. I thought it was just me but even my in laws agreed! Ooh and I can make a much better flan! Def not like the old 809!

This place absolutely nailed Cinco de Mayo! From the moment we walked in, the energy was electric — music bumping, people dancing, and the staff keeping the vibes high all night. And the best part? FREE hookah and complimentary shots! Yes, you read that right. No catch, no attitude — just a genuinely fun and generous atmosphere.
The hookah was smooth, flavorful, and constantly refreshed without us even having to ask. The shots were delicious (and strong!), and the servers made sure everyone was having a good time. You could tell they actually cared about making the night special.
Food was on point too — tacos, elotes, margaritas — all fresh, fast, and full of flavor. Honestly, it felt like a party you’d throw for your friends, but with professional service and no cleanup after.
Can’t wait to come back next year… or maybe next weekend. Highly recommend!

for anyone wondering if there is a cover charge for the lounge. there is. $40 but $20 if you’re early also if you come with a coat, the coat check is $10 but if you wanna keep it it will be $20 also valet is $40 just helping out anyone out there looking for prices.

The vibes are great. But I say for hours not one person came up to us and offered us bottle service or hookah. After asking numerous times we continue to wait. Vibes are great couldn’t tell you how anything else was. We sat From 10-12 waiting for bottle service. You decide - my first impression of this place had me shocked based off what I’ve heard.

I like this spot better than Dyckman Express now not gonna lie! Although it sucks to have lost Dyckman Express I been eating there for decades. The food remains the same always good and on point! But the maduros can be more consistent not gonna lie they be wack sometimes lol..gotta keep it real!
