Second time here with great food as always, and we had Leo taking care of us. Everything was so good I didn’t even think about taking pictures.😄

At 5:10, we asked if a party of three could walk in when the restaurant opened at 5:30. The waiter confirmed it was okay, so we parked nearby and came back at opening. However, when we returned, we were told there were no seats available. We were very disappointed, because we would not have waited if we had known this earlier.

Overall- I loved this place. It’s also part of InKind. The tuna tar tar was one of those dishes where once you have it u almost want to eat a second. It’s a must.

Food - once we order the tuna tartare it was so good. We almost over a second however, the table next to us had the Uni tartare so he said we’ll take that and it didn’t impress me as much as the tuna I loved it still.

We also ordered the KFC chicken, which was good a little relied to heavily on sauce and we got the Wellington, which was pretty impressive. Lastly, we got the butter chicken, which was delicious with the rice however, the rice could be cooked. There was also a cold onion in it, but the dish wasn’t cold

Atmosphere – The place is full. It’s cute. Nothing too crazy or over the top. Dim it everything is back in a red light, which makes it really hard to take pictures of the food, but that’s OK. Please excuse my pictures.

I love this place but people next to us get the kimchi cheese rice with chicken and it looks so good. I wanna go back and get it and of course get the tar tower again.

I also learned what corn salt tea was here also delicious and apparently really good for you

8282 hits all the right notes. Everything we ate was delicious especially the tteokbokki which can be hard to do. Service was friendly and efficient. Vibe was great and not too loud. Definitely will go back.

Wonderful meal! We had such an awesome time dining here, we weren't ready to leave. From the way we were greeted when we walked in, we had a feeling this meal was going to be special, and it definitely was! The staff is friendly, intuitive and extremely attentive. Every person we interactad with added to our experience. The food was absolutely delicious! Especially the grilled octopus and the 82 steak. Those were my favorites of the night but talking to other diners and seeing and smelling their meals, I could have been just as pleased with any item from the menu. The Gocujang margarita was so good, we had 3 and the shot of the day was a delicious flavor surprise that required an additional round. Then restaurant itself has a very welcoming and comfortable feel and the music playing will have you singing along most of the time. We lingered way longer than we normally do and never felt rushed. 8282 is a finely tuned machine that is dialed in to not only make great food but also to deliver a memorable experience. All of which they did for us!!! Thank you 8282, we appreciate you!!!

I’ve been wanting to try this spot for so long and the food did not disappoint at all! The steak was phenomenal and the octopus dish has now made me an octopus fan. Out of everything we ordered, I think the perilla oil pasta could’ve been substituted for something else. The presentation of the food was also very nice - my only critique of the restaurant was that the atmosphere did not match the food as well as I thought it would. We were seated near the kitchen / bathroom and were constantly getting bumped into by servers and other customers as it is a little cramped, furthermore it was a bit overwhelming from the noise and movement of the kitchen right behind us.

This modern Korean spot in LES is truly a gem, and I absolutely loved it. The interior is cozy but tables are a bit small, so I recommend reservations if you are come with a group. Service was absolutely stellar—they were so kind to talk to, attentive, and patient.

We got their chestnut makgeoli to drink and for food we got their: grilled octopus, ebi ikura uni tartare, clam sujaebi, scallop jjajjang boribap, 8282 steak, and yuzu panna cotta. Everything was phenomenal. Their chestnut makgeoli was creamy and a delightful pair to the meal. Their grilled octopus was probably the favorite of the night as it was flavorful, amazing texture, and had great sauces. The ebi ikura uni tartare was also good and came with seaweed, but there was nothing super crazy/different about it (compared to other restaurants). I also loved the broth for the clam sujaebi but I felt like this leaned on the more modern side—the sujaebi was a bit different than traditionally, and the broth was also more seafood forward. The scallop jjajjangboribap was good but I wish the jjajjang sauce was a bit stronger/more saucey. And, the steak was amazing. The yuzu matcha panna cotta was the perfect way to wrap up the meal, and by the end of this I was stuffed. Absolutely loved this dinner and I highly recommend.

Great dining experience with very friendly attentive staff! We were genuinely so impressed by our meal here! Small intimate vibes with a great playlist all night!

(complimentary) Birthday Shot -- coffee liquour, banana liquour, oatmilk! Thank you to our waiter for these off menu shots!

5/5 White Rabbit
4.7/5 TQP
4.5/5 Yuzu Matcha Magic
5/5 Chawanmushi -- very umami, generous seafood!
4.5/5 Clam sujebi -- lovely mesty clams, chewy sujebi, a bit of a citrus kick from the broth!
5/5 Scallop Boribap -- perfectly cooked scallop, usually not a fan of barley but this was done so well.
5/5 Dakgalbi Kimchibap -- so rich and flavorful!
4/5 Perilla Pasta -- brazino was great, pasta sauce was a bit watery for my preference.

Special shoutout to whoever was on DJ duty!

Great menu- really thoughtful and balanced flavors with surprises along the way. We loved the octopus the most, as the little kick made all the difference. What really sets this meal apart from all others is how our server Jeffery (???) made our night. Such attentive service. Thank you so much king!

For anyone visiting New York, this is a must visit! Came here with my Dad and it was our most special meal of the whole trip. The ambiance was relaxed but bustling with atmosphere simultaneously and the food was exceptional. The combination of flavours within each dish we enjoyed complimented eachother, all with subtle and bold flavours. Would recommend the scallops, steak and lamb chops as a 10/10 combo! The professional and kind service really was the cherry on top and our waitress Victoria made our evening. So attentive and so charming! You can't come to New York and not come here and my Dad and I look forward to our next visit.

Alex and Victoria were the best! Alex made the best drinks and provided lengthy descriptions about the cocktail menu, while providing a sense of light hearted entertainment and Victoria was always eager to help when I was confused about an ingredient or asked about allergies. Both of these people, the drinks, atmosphere and food were phenomenal! Will definitely come back!
