The service impostor are fabulous. We ordered the veal chop and the veal was very hard to eat for a an expensive main course. I would expect it to be better and in the past, it has been better.
This was our first time dining at 83 1/2. What an enjoyable experience. The waiter was exceptionally pleasant and helpful and genuinely wanted to provide us with the best service. We enjoyed the artichokes and baked clams for appetizers. The fillet of sole was enjoyed as “the best fish I've had in a while.“ I special requested and received a very flavorful chicken Valdostana. Had anyone asked, I would have been unwilling to share! While the artichokes and sautéed spinach had, perhaps, a bit too much oil, they were nonetheless very tasty. A touch of salt may have helped as well. Overall, this was a delicious meal, with praiseworthy service. I am certain we will be back.
Amazing food always! I can't get enough. From the artichokes to the pasta to the lamb. Don't miss this gem.

While the food was excellent, there was only one waiter. They usually have two(the owner who doubles as a waiter was missing). As a result service was quite slow..
I have eaten here a number of times before with my boyfriend and had great food and service. Last night I dined with a girl friend. For various reasons we ordered just an entree each and she had a glass of wine. I guess the waiter was annoyed that we didn't order more because at times he was a bit rude and seemed somewhat annoyed and begrudging when asked for the black and the red pepper shakers or more water. It will make me think twice before I consider a return with my sister or any other of my girl friends.
The food is fine; standard red sauce Italian. The waiter was really nice too. I asked if they could do chicken parm and he said of course; asked if it came with pasta and he said yes for extra….no problem. Figured it would come to 30ish dollars or so total. Nope. Charged me 33 dollars for 1 piece of chicken parm and another 15 for a small bowl of pasta, so $48 dollars total. There are about 75 other generic Italian places in a 5 block radius that all have chicken parm and pasta for about 30 total. Shame because I actually liked this place but feel like they stole from me.

It has become my new favorite place. Small, great service, great food (watermelon salad, veal chop 😊), wonderful gin martini.
First time at this restaurant and the food was just so good. We had a lovely waiter and he was very attentive. Will for sure be going back.

This is a great little neighborhood restaurant. The food is delicious. My friend and I each ordered a watermelon salad, with a drizzle of balsamic, fresh basil, and feta. It was so fresh and pretty, I felt like it was something Martha Stewart would make if I were to be invited to her house for dinner. We got the eggplant parmigiana balls with melted burrata cheese. They paired perfectly with the toasted bread they brought to the table. Next we had Shrimp Scampi over linguine. The shrimps were fantastic, the butter wine sauce was rich and deep in flavor, and the linguine was fresh pasta, which made very happy!!! Great dish. We skipped dessert and ended the meal with some mint tea. I highly recommend this neighborhood gem!

Delicious food. Unfortunately, service was poor. Waited 20-min for a waiter to take our order, and 40-min until our appetizer was served. Owner wasn't present.
Everything about this restaurant is wonderful and makes for a truly satisfying dining experience -- ambience, food, and service. All dishes are delicious, and staff go out of their way to accommodate allergy restrictions, diners' preferences, and even share plates for you. The owner, Vincenzo, and server Jose are especially courteous, cooperative, and considerate of diners' wishes. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The restaurant was quiet and food very good Brussel sprouts and grilled artichokes were delicious. Cesar Salad was very good And enough for two people. The eggplant balls were good and enough for an entree The service was very good and attentive Haven't been in awhile But will be back
