The service impostor are fabulous. We ordered the veal chop and the veal was very hard to eat for a an expensive main course. I would expect it to be better and in the past, it has been better. 
This was our first time dining at 83 1/2. What an enjoyable experience. The waiter was exceptionally pleasant and helpful and genuinely wanted to provide us with the best service. I have eaten here a number of times before with my boyfriend and had great food and service. Last night I dined with a girl friend. For various reasons we ordered just an entree each and she had a glass of wine. I guess the waiter was annoyed that we didn't order more because at times he was a bit rude and seemed somewhat annoyed and begrudging when asked for the black and the red pepper shakers or more water.
