I rarely rate something with 1 star but this place doesn't deserve more.
Margharita was absolutely disgusting.
The BBQ chicken was ok.
Not a welcoming atmosphere either.
Prices not anywhere near 99 cents.

The workers got mad at some guy and gave every other customer attitude when he left. It was mad annoying and I had to ask them to put the cheese pizza back in the over after already waiting but the pizza is fire🔥🔥🔥🔥
They have a very bad attitudee
Best Margarita slice ever in NYC, worth the price.

Rude staff
I DON’T KNOW HOW! But to my surprise after waking up this morning I see that my bank account is down $100 after me having been home all morning! Someway .. somehow this place’s address is showing up on my transactions for an ATM withdrawal that I did not make nor have I ever even stepped foot in this establishment! I don’t know what they have going on but don’t even walk by the place because it’s giving some sort of ATM skimming scam!
Why dont spend paint to clean this table 😒

I can't recommend it. The pizza was absolutely cold and the seller ignored the fact that a homeless person was messing around in there.
And even for a cold pizza, it tasted really bad. There wasn't any cheese on it either.
Guys, please: spend a little more money and use it to buy pizza somewhere else that doesn't belong in the trash.

Can't really complain about the taste for the price ($1.5/slice). Had Joe’s Pizza around the corner for $4/slice, which is just slightly better for more than 2x the price and they take cards, unlike Joe’s Pizza.

hit the spot. We came from a long night and the place was open until late. Although it is far from being the best pizza, the topping was delicious.

Not 99 cents. You pay 3.50 for a slice that tastes like it’s about 2 cents. Crust floppy, tomato sauce sugary, dough was horrid. But if you’re under the influence, you might not be able to tell.
It's 1.50 now and it's not the way it was like five years ago. Also pretty dirty

Th 99 Cents pizza store is a staple spot for a quick cheap bite when you are bar hopping Greenwich Village. This spot is not fancy. It's a small storefront with standing room only - it's not meant to hang out in. Yes, you will encounter some panhandlers, yes most of the people that go here are either cheap or broke (both). But if you are not looking to pay $6+ for a slice at one of the larger spots, who cares??99 Cents Pizza now has an extensive menu with the addition of desserts like brownies cookie, and and churros for $2.50 and under. Which I am betting caters to marijuana dispensaries nearby and the smokers looking for a late night cure for their munchies. It may be called 99 cents pizza, but the slices cost $1.50 cents now...and it still tastes like 99 cents pizza. So, temper your expectations, satiate your appetite, and save a buck.
