As in every city, there must be this one street food that saves both locals and tourists. Not nasty Hot Dogs, not pretzels, but just 1$ Pizza.Guides say that the places are extinct, but they still exist and are doing well.A basic point to visit when visiting NY - preferably every evening for a walk :)

Good pizza. Very small place: eating is only possible while standing.

This place accomplishes exactly what you’re looking for cheap one dollar pizza $10 for a whole pie. Honestly it’s New York pizza still better than Pennsylvania and Jersey lol.

Came here during Pride. They stopped selling plain cheese slices meanwhile had pizzas with toppings coming out hot. I thought there was wait for plain slices so I asked them how long for plain sliced. They told me they were sold out and were only selling their topping pizzas, which were going for $4 a slice! Your sign says $1 pizza where is the $1 slice!?! And people were going for it because they didn't know any other $1 spots in the area! Such a shame! If you were selling $1 slices someone would've ordered an entire pie! Because people are high & drunk and will eat!

After going to New York me and my brother were hungry and decided to go to dollar pizza. When we went in they had a short line but a long wait time it took 15 minutes for our food to get ready. It was quiet but they had no chairs to sit on only tables. When I ate it then undercooked it a bit and I had a stomach ache from it. The only reason I went there is because the pizza is cheap and I didn't have much money on me at the time

Never mind the $1.50 price on the pizza. We purchased just about every slice that had, and each one was flavorful. In fact, I wanted to go back and get so more after eating the first two slices. The service was perfect and I have no complaints about it. I will definitely be back.

How can you hate on a place that still serves a slice of pizza for $1.50? Is it the largest slice? No. Does it use the freshest mozzarella and tomatoes? No. Does it taste like NY pizza?HELL YEAH!Then there's the $3.50 deal which simply cannot be beaten. In 2022, a Big Mac is $9. A Wendy's Double is $10. Even a hot dog at Gray's Papaya or Papaya King is $4. And yet somehow, you can snag TWO slices of pizza and a real Coke for $3.50!The dude behind the counter was pretty quiet and chill. We splurged for a brownie and he was kind enough to throw it in the oven without even being asked. BTW, the brownie square was $2.50. The four of us wound up dropping $9.50 for four slices, two cokes and a brownie. I was gonna take off a point because it's not the greatest pizza on earth but then I remembered that McDonalds and Wendy's are charging $10 for something so far from the greatest burger on earth that to deduct a star just seems grossly unfair. An average slice of pizza in NYC will run you $4.50 and trust me, that's not the greatest pizza on earth either. Therefore, I offer up a full FIVE STARS for being the most affordable meal one can have in Manhattan. $1.50 Pizza is still the undefeated Champion of NYC!

Yeah, 3 is about right. It is cheap, so there's that. The pizza was lukewarm and fine in flavor, not NY great at all. Did I mention it's cheap? (Actually $1.50/cheese slice.) Sorry, no pic. It looked like pizza.

I really liked the pizza. It's made fresh all day long. Plus, they had this amazing little meat pie. I would come back to try more of the non pizza foods they have here.
