We had a wonderful, delicious meal, with great service. This is one of my favorite restaurants in NYC and it never disappoints. The waiter was fun, knowledgeable and provided fantastic advice and service. I'll be back!
Love going to Anejo. Been going for years and happy to return to see the quality is still great. The ceviche is wonderful especially the Tuna. The salsas and guac are perfect. Lovely tacos and many other options. Our server was spectacular!
Great authentic food and very nice service
Great and friendly service. Good ceviche selection and reasonably priced.
Delicious margaritas (I had the mezcal), superb guacamole and salsas, the enchiladas Verde were fantastic, but the brussel sprouts were the dinner winner. Fantastic! Eat here anytime you can.
Añejo was simply amazing. The quality of the food was outstanding, from the guacamole to the queso fundido to the elote. But the service is what really made the experience stand out. Our waiter (who I think was also the manager) personally handled our table and made sure we had everything we needed. He definitely made Anejo a fantastic experience. Can't wait to go back again!
Last night me and my husband went to Añejo. I am going to start by saying that the atmosphere is very nice! Our server Edward was very friendly and attentive. We asked him for some recommendations and everything was spot on. Food was delicious!! My husband had a tequila/mescal old fashioned and it was amazing! The guacamole, ceviche and the Carne Arrachera is to die for.
Definitely a place to go back.
Food was really good, the staff did a killer job, and the environment was classicly New York with great people watching.
First rate fish tacos!
Great place for Mexican cuisine. Had the crispy fish tacos. Nice taste and flavor.
It's been 2 years since I'd been to Anejo and those last visits were not good ones. At the time, I'd rated Anejo only 3 stars in my Google review. I'm happy to say they have redeemed their last 2 stars and are back to 5 stars! In the last 2 weeks I've been 3 times and the food quality has bounced back to it's pre-Covid levels. The cauliflower tacos are excellent, the brussel sprouts got their Wow back and no hard under ripe avocado in the guacamole. And my dining companions devoured their respective Pork Cheek enchiladas and Lamb Barbacoa Tacos as well as the rice and beans. And needless to say the Mexcalitas were very refreshing. Glad to see Anejo back in full flight.

Great service, great food and loved the margaritas. I’m very hard to please when it comes to margaritas but they were delicious here, clearly made with fresh squeezed lime and not too sweet. It was LOUD inside, I would recommend some noise-canceling acoustic panels for the ceiling. You never see them and they make a huge difference. Other than that, everything was fantastic and I’d happily come back.
Delicious tacos!
We had a fabulous meal at Anejo. To start we shared the guacamole and salsa combo and for mains, I had the chicken “al pastor” tacos and my husband had the ribeye fajitas. The food was, without exception, generous in terms of portion size, beautifully cooked and presented, and each dish tasted amazing. We've eaten Mexican food before but it didn't come anywhere close to the standard served here. My nada margarita was so fresh and delicious I wish they sold it to take home! Our waitress was a delight - attentive and helpful and she made recommendations when my husband wanted to try a tequila. Our meal at Anejo was one of the highlights of our holiday and if we return to NYC in future, we will definitely eat here again.
My friend and I arrived 20 minutes earlier and they were more than happy to accommodate. The energy was lively, and the seating arrangement was cozy. The food was amazing, but a bit expensive.
Fun spot in Hell's Kitchen on the edge of the theatre district - 10 minute walk to broadway shows. Great cocktails and tasty tacos. The service was quick and friendly. I'd recommend this place as a pre-theatre dining experience.
