Incredibly good ice cream, which is also nut free. Owner was amazingly kind and knowledgeable about eating nut free in NYC. They also sell nut free chocolates which was an amazing treat! Thank you again for your kindness and generosity. Really lovely atmosphere too! Can’t recommend enough.

This is a very delayed review but once upon a time, we ordered from a la mode and were accidentally rerouted or something to another shop. A la mode was so apologetic even though it wasn’t their fault that they sent us free ice cream for my nut-allergy boyfriend! They were insanely kind, proactive, and the ice cream was delicious!! Ever since, I have told everyone it has to be your city go-to for delicious ice cream and a wonderful staff. 11/10 recommend.

In a word…JOY! It was absolute joy to take our highly allergic son to his first SAFE ice cream shop. Noah was so pleasant, kind and patient as we worked through our son’s food anxiety. He reassured us that it is normal for allergy kids to be wary. After we settled in and our son became comfortable we were able to try many different flavors. The ice cream is delicious and the service was top notch! Highly recommended for those with or without allergies.

Before I went to the store, I called them to see if the Jellycat item I was about to buy was still in stock. The staff answering the phone was very friendly to put one on hold for me after confirming the availability. When I went to pick it up, I found that the environment in the store was also very nice.
