I had a wonderful dining experience at A La Turka. When I arrived, Ahsan kindly seated me by the window, which I truly appreciated since I always prefer window seating. Yagmur was very friendly and patient. She walked me through the vegan section of the menu in detail and helped me choose my dishes. Based on her recommendations, I ordered the Fasulye (Bean Salad), Falafel, and Eggplant Shakshuka. All three dishes were delicious, and they came with complimentary warm bread—soft, fresh, and served perfectly warm. When the food arrived, Cem, the manager, personally brought everything to my table and explained each dish so I could match the names correctly. His attentiveness and hospitality made the experience even more welcoming. Overall, I had an excellent Thanksgiving lunch at A La Turka—especially meaningful since most restaurants were closed. I truly appreciate that they were open and provided such warm service and great food. I highly recommend this restaurant!
4th time dining here, food, service, and warm comforting ambiance are exceptional. Lamb chops my favorite meal, best I've had in Manhattan to date. Zucchini pancakes are outstanding, stuffed cabbage (huge portion) an excellent entree also. Will definitely be dining here more often, thanks to all for a fabulous dining experience.
Rude and unprofessional waiter. Me and a friend were told that we could not order an entree and an appetizer and we must order two entrees. We never saw that posted anywhere upon sitting down. If that wasn’t bad enough after paying the check the waiter would not provide my friend with some more hot water in her cup. His reasoning was that we were there 1.5 hours and we had to leave at that point. There were plenty of empty tables in the place and no one waiting for seats, but for some reason he was trying to free up this table. We eventually called over the manager who really did not show that he cared at all about how we were treated. Suffice to say that we will never be back along with anyone in either of our families. Worst service I have experienced in my lifetime!!

Nice restaurant. Food was good and good value for our money. Bread was the best. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will revisit in the future
If you're looking for an excellent meal consisting of Mediterranean food in a very energetic environment, this place is for you. It was updated a few years ago and is a beautiful neighborhood gem. The pricing is a little aggressive, but not really out of line with many other New York establishments of equal quality. My only complaint is that the tables are extremely close together to the point where you almost feel like you're eating with the people at the next table. other than that, I have no complaints and we really enjoyed our experience.
The food here is outstanding and amazing. I'm a vegetarian and always find something to eat. I love their hummus, which is like none I've ever had before. Their vegetable dishes are delicious. I will continue to go back and try all of them. The service is excellent and the restaurant is nicely designed with a very pleasant atmosphere.
I hesitated because of negative feedback, but my experience was wonderful. Personnel show exceptional friendliness. What makes it unique is the neighborhood presence. The cost-to-quality ratio makes sense. I want to come back to explore other specialties.

Food is outstanding. Service was ok but it was very noisy. That's to be expected on a Saturday night.
We loved our late lunch, early dinner. After spending the afternoon admiring Halloween decorations, we worked up an appetite. (I love wandering around my NYC like a tourist even though i lived here 30 years) Too hungry and tired, we asked our waiter, Ali to recommend his favorites. He created a spectacular meal for us. All delicious and the end to a perfect day.@widowshelpingwidows #stoopandthecity

Great food, friendly competent staff, a fun, lively atmosphere - what more could one want? I've been here twice - for lunch and dinner. It doesn't disappoint!
They didn't honor our reservation right away. We had to wait 15-20 min but then had a nice experience.
