The restaurant, the service and the foods were great, except that the portion of mixed grilled (and the rice) was not big. I will come back and try other dishes for sure.
The mezze platter for two was huge and oh, so good! Perfect for these hot and humid summer evenings in NYC.
Overall experience was fantastic. The food was delicious and the service was exemplary. The service staff was not overbearing and were there at every instance we needed them. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Everything we had was very tasty, the standouts were the Muhammara dip, Adana kabob and the lamb chops
When we first arrived, all the windows were open in spite of it being an almost 90° day. They closed them when we requested, and once the air conditioning kicked in it worked out very well. However we almost left because it was so hot prior to that. Food was excellent as always. Servers were extremely pleasant snd on top of things. I do wish they had a better wine selection, most wines by the glass were almost $20 and they didn't give you a very generous pour.
Great kebobs. Terrific, sharable appetizers. Energetic crowd. Tables much too close to each other. Hostile maitre d' denies you have a reservation when it is right there.
The food was exceptional, and the service was truly excellent—attentive and professional throughout our visit. That said, I highly recommend clearly communicating any food allergies when ordering. I have an eggplant allergy and ordered a dish that didn't list eggplant as an ingredient and didn't include it on the plate. Unfortunately, I became very ill shortly after leaving the restaurant. In hindsight, I believe there may have been cross-contamination, possibly from shared grill surfaces, as my husband's eggplant dish had identical grill marks to my fish. This was on me for not stating my allergy explicitly, especially given how many dishes on the menu feature eggplant. Due to the risk of cross-contact, we won't be returning—but I want to emphasize that if you don't have food sensitivities, I would absolutely recommend this place. The food and staff are both outstanding.
This has been one of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood since 2005- always delicious food, great attentive service good drinks however last night we were disappointed everything was off idk what happened (we were there 2 weeks ago and all was as usual great) and we had an out of town guest ! Disappointed
Shepherd salad and hummus were great - although Shepherd salad has been shrinking for some time now. Falafel was good, as was Albanian liver. Best of all was the fruit plate for dessert. It was some of the best fruit I have ever eaten in a restaurant, delicious!
The food is always excellent here. They raised their prices, but still worth it. Very noisy the night we were there.
Terrific Turkish fare, wonderful service and atmosphere and nice jazz music at a modest level allowing table conversation.

Amazing food & service! Great place for vegetarians. However, noticed a lot of good meat dishes on the menu as well. Service was perfect! Will 100% return. Thank you!
One of our go to places in the neighborhood. Reliable, friendly. Pleasant, accommodating... Drinks are getting smaller while prices are going up! Overall, generally pleased, except over the weekends when it's way too noisy.
Great experience! We took our friends who were visiting from California, they loved it! The food is consistently delicious!
Amazing experience. The staff was top notch and extremely accommodating! We celebrated my son's birthday and the celebration with sparklers and music really set them apart. AMAZING spot!
I always enjoy having a meal at this restaurant...food is consistently good and ditto on service. Window tables during warm months is lovely as they open to the street.
