Excellent food, drinks, and overall vibe. I've been going here for years and its the best Ecuadorian food I've found in the US, which has also been confirmed by my family that has visited from Ecuador. Owner and staff are all very friendly and attentive. Favorites dishes from here include Lomito Salteado, Llapingachos, Seco de Chivo, Seco de Pollo, and Empanadas de Verde. Can't recommend this spot enough. :)

So sad they will be closing at the end of this month. They have the most amazing food and very authentic recipes. Go get the fritada with mote and the bolon de verde. The staff was also super attentive and very friendly. Overall a wonderful experience here !!

My first time it was small but cozy and the service was good.

The food was ok (mind you this is coming from someone who grew up with an Ecuadorian grandma who cooked authentic Ecuadorian dishes everyday, so it's hard to compare). The bolon was delicious. I highly recommend getting the Nano Agrio cocktail drink! Overall a good experience, the staff is very nice and attentive.

PLEASE READ!After successful 10 years, this place is closing at the end of April. Take the time to go and enjoy the food.If there is any investor interested in buying a business, please check this place. The restaurant has two good cooks and a talented crew. The owner is retiring.

Found this place by casualty. The location itself is cozy with 6-7 tables, it is a little cold even with a curtain covering the door the wind creeped in. The food was really good! As an Ecuadorian I was doubtful of a good Ecuadorian place in Manhattan but was pleasantly surprised. Definitely recommend the llapingacho plate and the watita. The tres leches was okay not a big fan.

So good. Go here. The service is great as well. I found my new favorite Ecuadorian food in NYC after 10 years of living here.

Excellent food and even better service, you must come and visit, eat and have a margarita made by Aluna, delicious and really enjoyed it. It is a very small place but you feel like home. Excelente trato, lugar acogedor muy familiar. Visítenlo lo recomiendo 100%

This place just has such a good energy about it, not to mention the excellent customer service and delicious food. Ñaño agrio cocktail is a MUST! There's a parking place a couple blocks away but a nice walk. A lovely, casual place to dine. Definitely, we will go again.

Came here with a group of 7 at the recommendation of a friend in the group. The restaurant is VERY small, but the accommodated us very kindly. We ordered pitchers of sangria and passion fruit, which were delicious and strong!I ordered the Muchines appetizer, which we all agreed was the best thing we ordered and worth the trip alone. The basil lemon aioli sauce was spectacular. Also notable was the Bolon Mixto. For dinner I tried the shrimp ceviche (against the reco of our fabulous server.) It was solid, but I see why he didn't recommend it, it needed more lime and flavor.Would def come here again for a fun group dinner, but make a reservation

Great Ecuadorian food without having to travel to Queens. Space is small, so make sure to make a reservation if you want to go during busy hours. They do have outdoor seating. Space for maybe ~12 inside. Food was great, large portions and a lot of options for everyone. I reccomend getting the bolon mixto as an app it was amazing!

This place is very tasty. The flavor of the food is worth the drive/walk/trip. Inside is very small, they just have a couple of tables. They also have tables outside but during winter is hard to sit there because of the cold. The service here was very good. Our waiter was super courteous and he paid attention to all details. The food took about 45 minutes to get to us but the flavor made up for the wait time. If you want to try good Ecuadorian food, this is one of the best places to go. Our favorite plate was the Bolon mixto which is definitely a MUST. The prices are fair compared to other places. I would want to go back and try different plates.

Every time we visit NYC, we try new foods we've never had before. Nano was at the top of our list! Highly recommend getting reservations. The restaurant is tiny, but has outside seating. As someone from Tennessee, I have to say that sitting outside with traffic zooming by at 45 mph was nerve-wracking and terrifying. This caused us to eat our meal very quickly! But, nonetheless, the service was amazing and the waiter made us feel safe and comfortable. We tried the Canelazo (Ecuadorian hot toddy) and the regular margarita. Absolutely LOVED the Canelazo!!!! It was spicy and fruity and felt so warm on a cold night. We could have drank them all night and forgot about the traffic behind us. :)For appetizers, we had empanada de verde and muchines. Both were good, but very starchy. Our main course was the Seco De Pollo. All the flavors were complimentary!

Excellent ecuadorian lunch and fantastic & friendly service by Angel. We enjoyed the loaded bolón de verde and black coffee to start. Caldo de bola was a hit at our table. I ordered a bandera: guatita, seco de chivo, ceviche de camarón. Though it wasn't my favorite, the dish was beautifully plated and included yellow rice, sweet plantains, and sliced avocado. We plan to visit again when we're back in NYC- this time sticking with the lighter meals and definitely getting the bolón again!

Talk about being back home! This place is so great and so good. Guatita was great, fritada was delicious, seco..... yes please! You can have a club and chill inside (it's small) or in the outside seating area where the flags hang over your head. Overall great service and delicious food. Will go back again when in NY.
