Take note: there are SEVERAL locations under this same name but the 3rd Ave & 109th St location has consistently provided good service and good food since they moved there. Not ALWAYS the most warm & friendliest place but the food is VERY VERY GOOD. Best catfish. Even the sides are down home good. We're not in the area but will make the drive because it's worth it. And don't forget the desserts!

Sorry to give the restaurant a bad review, as my kids like the fish, but tonight I ordered using Uberone a meal, about $60, which they delivered to someone else. They sent a Pic of the doorknob, which clearly isn't mine. They lied and said the delivery guy repeatedly tried to reach me. I have no calls. And they say I have to pay for it. So some nuighbor is eating my food.

Don't use uber eats to order food , they will over charge you and steal your money. Ordered a 2 for 1 special and I was charged twice for the order and not given the price that was advertised on uber eats , however the order was placed with the merchant correctly . Uber eats can't be trusted . Pick your order up . The staff will not be able to help.

Parking: Nice, polite, people, beautiful atmosphere I’m hard to please when it comes to food, because I’m a chef, but I haven’t taste anything from a taste of seafood that I didn’t like. Everything is delicious.
When you say light seasoning, this is what you get. I order here all the time but this would be the last. Whoever was working the kitchen on 11/16/24 at dinner time needs to be trained again.
Inedible! We threw it out since they were not only defrosted, they simply did not care to read my instruction. The shells were broken and as if the bag was thrown around a few times before it was packed. The shrimp was overdone and gooey at the same time. Not sure how you can achieve that but they did.

The value of the food went down and so did the service. It’s like they all have a mental issue in this place and telling a customer black people are racist out of no where speaks volumes when you’re working for someone black. It was inappropriate and to top it off I had to bring my food back bc Mohammed that made that comment messed up my food purposely after talking to the owner she didn’t care to listen so it speaks volumes will not be going here again should have listened when other people stated they ain’t it anymore it’s true.

I’m not sure what happened, but there is a significant decline in the taste. The fried chicken tastes like Chinese fried chicken no seasoning and greasy. The macaroni and cheese is greasy, dry and has too much black pepper, the sweet potatoes are sweet but unseasoned. Imma need the old cooks back at the 3rd ave location. I know the area changing but I need my food properly seasoned. Don’t get me started on the mush call banana pudding they served up today. I don’t think I can recommend this spot. Nope! $65 in the trash.
