worst dining experience i’ve ever had. waited one hour past my reservation with no communication from front of house. they tried to seat me at the bar, and after i said no, they told me to take it up with the manager. they did this to 10 other people waiting for over an hour, too. hundreds of better spots within a 20 min walk, do not bother.

ABC Cocina is an absolute gem! The drinks and food were incredible from start to finish. Everyone in my party ordered 2–3 dishes to share, and it was the perfect way to experience all the amazing flavors. The octopus, beef tenderloin, crudo, and fish tacos were my faves. Each dish was packed with flavor and beautifully prepared.
To top it off, I had the lychee bellini, and it was one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. The atmosphere, service, and quality were all top-notch. I’ll most definitely be back and highly recommend.

Large fun Mexican joint. A little to noisy for my likings, but seems one can usually get a table at short notice.

Have revisited this restaurant many times with my husband over the last decade. The menu is always evolving and the staples remain delicious as I remember! Drinks are great too!

Fabulous night at ABC cocina .
We were treated like royalty, having had a great spot at the bar with Max as our bartender, all the wait staff and Robbie the manager who made us feel special. The other manager, Ian was off that night, but made sure that our experience was top-notch. This is our favorite spot to come to in New York, and we can’t wait to return.

Restaurant was a little loud, both with patrons and music, lively but hard for a group to talk. I do NOT recommend the fish tacos, the batter was soggy and the sauce was jarringly acidic. I'd go again for the guacamole and the sweet corn empanadas! Sea bass was also VERY good. Service was slow, and we didn't receive everything we ordered.

A friend recommended this place, and honestly, I didn’t expect much — but I was pleasantly surprised! The menu was creative and full of interesting flavor combinations and ingredients. My vegan partner also had plenty of great options, which doesn’t happen often. The service was warm and attentive, and the dessert was huge — definitely enough for two! A lovely experience overall.
They also have vegan restaurant, def will try!
Don’t have any pics unfortunately

The pea guacamole never disappoints, and the trio of salsas was a wonderful surprise. The taco of shaved beef and the quesadilla of shaved beef were scrumptious!

Really good place for lunch break. The chorizo hamburger is really good, flavour full and soft, a bit spicy (for who likes spicy). We had also beef empanadas that are a really must.
Highly recommended

Big fan of Chef Jean-Georges and ABC kitchen is one of my fav in the city.

So glad that I finally got the chance to get dinner and it didn’t disappoint! The dishes are a bit bigger proportion that I’d expect though. :) lovely place for group dinner.

Being in ABC Carpet and Home store this location has always had a beautiful décor and ambience.
Mexican fusion style cuisine. During the warmer months the outdoor seating is lovely.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Also kindly added a complimentary dessert because it was a birthday dinner.

I am retracting my earlier five-star review after a second visit. Our first dinner on Mother’s Day was excellent with standout flavors and attentive service. On our return, every dish was overly salty and poorly executed. We asked if the same chef was on duty and were told no. The inconsistency between visits was disappointing, so I cannot recommend ABC Cocina with confidence right now.

We had our dinner at ABC Cocina last night to celebrate Mother’s Day, and it was a truly special experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared.

A big thank you to Chef Marga—her creativity and passion came through in every bite. From start to finish, everything felt thoughtful and elevated. It was the perfect place to celebrate such a meaningful occasion.

We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We had been to the restaurant a few times in the past (all pre-pandemic) and couldn't wait to be back. We had the French toast, which we have been talking about the French toast for years. Unfortunately, the inside was wet and mushy and turned us off. The service was excellent, the server attentive, so we didn't want to make a fuss. We were also surprised that the place was empty.
