Classic Spanish food spot, has a person that grew up in this area from 9 years old to 22 when I moved put. It's hard to find the authenticity this place has.The delivery culture needs to visit places like this and stop judging, go to this small places and enjoy the nostalgia I did today, yum!
Because this is one of the only Spanish Restaurants in this area, it seems to be the most authentic. The prices are a little steep but better than the commercial place further downtown. I have had a few items on the menu but generally stick to beef stew and roast/ fried pork. Get there early for oxtails, they sell out fast. And be prepared to take your food to go... there aren't a lot of seats/tables.
I eat here at least once a week. $7 gets you a long way. The food is cooked and made to order. If you order on seamless instead of talking to a human, you might find that things run out as they make them per portion. This is not chipotle or McDonald’s. This is real food. It’s takes time to make. Salty? It’s Dominican food, please people. I love the people that come on here. Have one bad experience and are quick to jump to review places negatively. Best Dominican restaurant...
