Made reservations on open table for Saturday night, received confirmation and when we got there it was closed. Drove from Long Island to NYC for this dinner and was extremely upset that I was not notified that they were closed before I wasted my time

When we - five of us in the rain - arrived at Adare at 6.15pm on December 7th, with a confirmed reservation made through Open Table , Adare was closed, door locked, shut down. No notice was given to us by you, Open Table, or by Adare. So no food, service, no nothing. That is my review.

We had a reservation for 5:00pm. When we got there, the lights were off and there was no movement inside. The restaurant was obviously closed. Hopefully Open Table takes this restaurant off of is list so no one else is fooled!

When we arrived at the restaurant it was closed. No notification. When we called the number no one answered. Why does open table not know this? I believe I am not the first to post this message

I booked reservations through open table for Saturday the 28th at 830. I received a confirmation text which I replied to. When I showed up at 8:20 the restaurant was closed. I looked on google and it said open until 10pm. VERY disappointed have to shift gears last minute on a Saturday night with perfect weather. I had a friend in from out of town and it put a serious damper on the night.

Outstanding Chef Travis creates memorable new takes on French, Italian and American cuisine. Beautiful presentations. Complex, delicious flavors. Sophisticated space. Very friendly and knowledgable service. Should be a new dining star of Midtown East.

Had a few friends in town and wanted to try something new before we were going to a show Saturday evening. We had a 5pm reservation to give us plenty of time but unfortunately the timing of the service kept us there until 7 and we were rushing to the theater. We were the only table in the restaurant until our entrees arrived so I can't blame it on them being slammed. To start we were confused that they did not have a cocktail menu and the waiter seemed to say that there was no liquor - later we found out that wasn't true. There were just no specialty cocktails.First course we tried the steak tartare and the bone marrow. Both were good. I dont think the bone marrow needed the overly buttered slices of bread. It was rich enough on its own. Second course (not served until 6:40) we had the crab bucatini and the artic char. The pasta was extremely under cooked and chewy. The fish was ice cold and the puree underneath was more like an unidentifiable mush. We took a couple of bites but ultimately could not eat it and we did not have time to try something else. The waiter was very kind to take it off the check without any push back and apologized for the mishaps in the kitchen.I know this restaurant is new and the interior is absolutely gorgeous. But the ambiance was a bit ruined when the music they were playing had commercial breaks and played ads for cheetos.....Please spring for the ad-free spotify account. I hope they are able to work out these kinks.

Amazing!! This place definitely hits all the brackets. Great atmosphere, beautiful modern comfortable plush seating, gorgeous tables and most importantly...AHHmazingg food. Thoughtful and creative dishes with unique flavor profiles. I had the hickory smoked tartare which literally tasted like it was kissed with the most delicate touch of hickory smoke. So different and so juicy. Never had a tartare like that before. The artic char in sunchoke puree was unreal. Flavors were perfect, not oversalted like most places. Never had arctic char that good before. The scallops in corn succotash and puree was ridiculously good. The scallops are a Melt in your mouth situation and eating it with the corn makes you want to close your eyes and fly. The peach cobbler is presented so well and tastes like creamy yummy goodness...and not overly sweet which is also why I loved it. Service is top top notch! Very knowledgeable staff and very comfortable to talk to. Made the experience wonderful. I would 100% go back and get those same exact things!

It was our first time visiting Adare and it will not be the last. The restaurant has a beautiful and elegant decor. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. After ordering our drinks we received an amuse bouche of cauliflower panna cotta and caviar. We then ordered the gazpacho, the filet mignon with a side of sun chokes and the arctic char. We'll be back soon.

Amazing location! Service was very friendly , they all had a smile so that makes you feel like you are in the right place to enjoy a date night. Food was delicious, temperature and flavors were really nice! Also the Head Chef came to talk and explain the dishes to us, which I think everyone enjoys when they take the time to let you know what you are eating and also nice to put a face behind the lovely food! I would definitely recommend this place for a cute romantic date can’t wait to come back!
