One of the best Indian restaurants in NYC and a big step up from the sister restaurant Semma. The food here is delicious, satisfying, with decent portions and excellent presentation. The food is great, and it’s a special experience. Staff are friendly, the service is great. The cocktails are presented very nicely, but nothing wowed us. I’m here for the food and the service - and I couldnt be happier with that!

Food and service was great. I really enjoyed the thoughtful presentation involved with every dish delivered to the table. All dishes had great presentation and the staff were incredibly friendly and warm.
The only negative’s here is how loud the restaurant is (no fault of the restaurant ofcourse) just a note for any potential patrons. It is extremely loud. Also the inaccessability of the butter chicken dish is unwarranted. The normal reservation is difficult enough to secure only to walk away without being able to try their signature dish. Manufactured hype is something IMO as a lifelong New Yorker of what seperates restaurants that become real New York establishments from fly by night spots that eventually fade away. One last note is on the cocktails. The drinks taste great and are thoughtful concoctions. However they are basically non- alcoholic. I had 3-4 and walked out sober, not even a buzz unfortunately.
With that said This place has a great ambiance with solid dishes and friendly service and alot of potential. Def worth a try atleast once.

Had a wonderful dinner experience at Adda tonight. The food was exceptional. The chefs know what to do with the spices to create some of the best flavors in all of these dishes. The curry leaf crab is a must! All the dishes were great. But the one of the best bites we had was a simple yet so flavorful kulfi popsicle desert that was dipped in strawberry cream sauce. Also what was top of the line was the service. Our server Swayam was a delight. He was the kindest person with a great personality. He was very knowledgeable about all the items and was a great help with recommendations. Service was a 10 out of ten. It’s hard to get a reso here, but that means everyone is going here. This restaurant is a must.
