Great place to eat if you’re near Battery Park and an exceptional value. The menus are a bit deceiving as the pizza portions are very large, a half can feed two people and a whole pizza can feed 3-4. The pizza was very good as was the stuffed mushrooms and meatballs.

Came here with friends from Europe who were craving NYC pizza. The pizzas here are absolutely delicious plus there are other items on the menu including salads and pasta so not everyone has to eat pizza. The pizzas, btw, are huge (even the half portion-sizes). We ordered quattro formaggi, the four seasons (my fave!!) and the Original Old Fashioned with add-ons of pepperoni and onions. I had not been here before but several friends suggested it when I asked for recommendations for great pizza spots that also take reservations. I had one minor issue with the service. My friend and I both ordered wine: he had a glass of prosecco, I had a glass of pinot grigio. Halfway through our meal, I reordered my wine but was served prosecco. After one sip, I told the server she had delivered the wrong wine. she was miffed. They finally took the prosecco away when they saw I would not drink it and delivered the pinot. I was treating my friends and paid without giving the check too much of a review but today I did look and they had charged me for the extra prosecco that I had not ordered as well as for the second pinot grigio. It's not a big deal but leaves a bit of a bad taste.

Great place to sit outside on a beautiful day. Ordered a pizza with two halves, really liked the Romana but found the broccoli rabe on the Calabrese was so salty that it ruined the overall flavor.

Just had the worst pizza of my life. The Pizza Arrabbiata was an endurance test of how much vinegar I could take on a pizza. I expected fresh chillis but instead had layers ot vinegar soaked jalapeños. Even after taking them all off the vinegar taste was overwhelming.

Das Essen ist ok. Allerdings sollte man die Rechnung überprüfen, denn es finden sich doch Positionen, die man nicht verzehrt hatte. Auch sind die „obligatorischen“ 20 % Tip schon automatisch mit abgerechnet. Man kann nur noch zusätzliche 2-5 % nochmal dazu addieren. Ich persönlich finde das so nicht in Ordnung und gehe dann lieber woanders hin.
Simply great to eat on the street on a warm summer evening. The pizza is really tasty, it is possible to put different toppings on a pizza. For all peanut allergy sufferers: we were able to eat here without any problems, good communication with the chef, we felt safe.

The service was utterly horrible. Generally, I am quite forgiving when it comes to the quality of service I receive at establishments because I understand the nature of the work can be difficult. I myself have lived it, however I write this review because the circumstance was handled so poorly that it’s difficult to let go. My party and I waited to be seated at the door and were ignored by the servers. Eventually we sat ourselves. We later moved because the seating was uncomfortable and we were looking for somewhere more private to have a conversation. The establishment was empty, so we moved to a larger seat by the window. We figured it was fine, since it was a slow afternoon and no one addressed us to begin with. The female server with the short hair and round glasses who ignored us the entire time only came over to tell us to move back to where we were seated in the most demeaning and condescending tone that was completely inappropriate for the circumstance. Had the establishment had a hostess who could properly address customers upon arrival we could’ve avoided the additional movement. If the servers had looked over and simply said “we’ll be with you in a moment” we could’ve avoided the confusion. Even then, we waited and did not receive as much as a glance by the servers. We sat with no acknowledgement, therefore we figured it was safe to move without troubled acknowledgement. The only interaction we had with an employee of the business was belittling and unfortunately embarrassing. It’s a shame because the food looked delicious and I was starving. Please retrain your servers to have a service mentality. Otherwise, what is the point? Some customers simply want to eat in comfort/peace. Please do better or fire her. She was unforgettably gross.
