Afficianado is one of Hell’s Kitchen’s best secrets. It is a quiet corner of 11th Ave, but always a welcome haven. The pastries are delicious and the drinks are made with care. I don’t drink much in the way of coffee, but the ambiance and customer service keep me hooking back and bringing friends. Every friend I take with me to this place always raves about the coffee and thanks me for showing them.

I commute from Park Slope just to work from this café, and it’s always worth the trip. The coffee is excellent, and the staff couldn’t be warmer or more welcoming!

He crafted one of the best cups I’ve had in a long time—perfectly balanced, smooth, and full of flavor. On top of that, he took the time to understand my taste preferences and helped me pick out the perfect coffee beans to take home. His expertise and attention to detail truly elevated the entire experience. It’s rare to find someone who combines skill, patience, and great customer service so effortlessly. Unique and delicious! The seasonal offerings are wonderful- we tried the eggnog latte and dolce natale. We also enjoyed the food offerings- a hummus and tomato tart + a delicious tuna melt. The atmosphere is cozy and well curated (extra bonus for having macadamia milk!)

Absolutely love Afficionado Coffee Shop! The place has such a warm, welcoming vibe and the coffee is always spot on. Their sea salt chocolate chip cookie is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had — soft, gooey, and that touch of sea salt makes it irresistible. Perfect combo with their latte or cold brew. Definitely my go-to spot for a quick pick-me-up or a chill afternoon break.
