Food was great but the waiter double charged us for the tip. Added 18% for a three people table but didn’t tell us. Then we added our tip. Only realized after asking for receipt. Disappointing given that it was otherwise a nice experience.

One of the best places for Senegalese food. I had the chicken brochette. The plantains were also delicious as well as bisap (sp). The baguette with butter pre meal just made it all the better. A definite stop when in Harlem.

I've been going for like 10 years great food but the only thing I buy is grilled fish +plantain always flavorful. I tried fried fish and it was over friend one day but desserts etc are delicious

Everytime I come back home i must go here and order as much as possible. The food is always delicious. Love love loveeee. You will be waiting awhile however so keep busy in the meantime but worth the wait . Food always fresh

I heard that Senegaleese food was all the rave and that Africa Kine was a great place to sample it, but our party was not impressed. We were there at 5:00pm and were forced to eat off of the lunch menu, even though 5:00pm is well after lunch and it was almost dark outside. We ordered a variety of dishes and were very underwhelmed by the quality of the food. The chicken was dry and lacked flavor. We had two types of rice and both were bland. Overall, everyone in our party agreed that Senegaleese was not as good as foods from other parts of the world, such as vietnam, India, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Thailand, etc.

The absolute BEST African food restaurant!!! I’ve been to a few but African Kine tops them all. The food is very fresh and delicious. Everyone is always very friendly. They make you feel like family. Thank you African Kine! ??

Music was too low … food was delicious my best friend and I went to get a meal after drinking in different lounges … the rice was done for the night so I got the fried snapper and my best friend got divorced lamb with fries … it was so tasty and fresh … my beverage I ordered never came which sucked … but I was happy to receive good food late at night … I love food from different cultures and I’m grateful for all the people from Senegal ?? that bring their beautiful food/fashion/culture here to NY

Ohmygosh, I loved the food and finished all I ordered and I don’t usually finish. I got the lamb dish with peanut sauce and definitely recommend trying the ginger juice!
Wish they had a branch in DC area but now I know and will be back!
And the portions are pretty good! I struggled to finish my food but am visiting so didn’t want to waste any of it ?

Food is not prepared fresh daily. The chicken we had was dry and inedible. We are disappointed and will not be coming here again.
