Al Bustan

Google tells me this restaurant is permanently closed - is this true?!?! It would be one of the greatest travesties of the Lebanese restaurants of NYC if this place was no more! I found Al Bustan when I worked across the street and it was on 3rd Avenue and have followed to the new location. With a mother that's lebaese, this is some of THE BEST lebanese food you can possibily get. The Kibbe Nayeh is as close to homemade as you can find and everything brings back memories of my 'tata's' cooking. I only wish they would still deliver to where I work now and I'd eat Al Bustan every single day!! Do your self a favor...and GO, now!

As always, the food was perfection, the waiters pleasant and relaxed, music interesting blend of Lebanese and French, but low enough that we could easily talk across our large table. What a great place; been there a number of times and it never disappoints.
