Absolutely fabulous this place! We were served by a very friendly girl… pleasant atmosphere, good wines and good food to accompany it.
Sorry for the photo! We were already done 😋

Had the daily flight of wines (Grenache), tried a few of the wine selections as well as the daily pour during our time there. The Hungarian natural wine was dry and a unique experience. The atmosphere was great when we were on the couches - although the high tops were comfortable, the seating style was not great. Service was attentive and interesting.

Great express lunch menu, very charming atmosphere and attentive service.
It’s also great for a drink after work.
Tasty wines by the glass to choose from and all consistently good. Food is not the best. Stick to cheese and charcuterie and save your appetite for another restaurant. The country pate was one of the best I've had. The space is urbane and sophisticated and service was professional and attentive.

The bar looks very cozy. Very good setup for a date night. The selection of wine by glass isn't exciting. Our experience with service was pretty bad. The sommelier was very very rude.

I recently visited Aldo Sohm Wine Bar after reading about it in the New York Times. The outdoor seating looked inviting, but with the city's humidity and the threat of a storm, we opted to sit indoors. The decor is nicely appointed and understated, seemingly designed to keep noise levels reasonable.
Our waiter, Eric, had a solid knowledge of the wines served by the glass. As a novice with a curiosity for wine, I appreciated his thorough explanations of each wine's characteristics.
We ordered food, and the Croque Monsieur was the best I've ever had. It featured a perfectly subtle béchamel with a touch of provincial herbs. The French fries were fresh and seemed to nod to McDonald's fries, likely fried in beef tallow. However, the one miss was the beef short rib, which was a bit too fatty.
Overall, it was an awesome experience. I would love to bring my wine-loving friends here or use it as a classy spot for business meetings.

Had a few glasses of Champagne here with my partner which were wonderful. The winelist is as you would expect from a master somm, fabulous. New favorite spot, will be back!
