On the first try, the octopus was undercooked and tasted really fishy, but on their second attempt the octopus was cooked well and tasted fine.
Their Bucatini was nice but not excellent— I added shrimp to it which helped, but it needed more fish roe.

The salmon was amazing. To be honest, I actually liked the eggplant more than the salmon. I was skeptical when I saw eggplant served with salmon, but it turned out great. The margarita pizza was so fresh and flavorful. My colleague had the chicken mozzarella sandwich she loved it, and he really liked the salad that came with it. A couple of my colleagues had burgers; they said the meat was juicy and spicy, which they really liked, FYI, it comes with chipotle mayo, if you can’t tolerate spice let them know 😬

Got the LUNCH promo for the margherita pizza @ $10 which was very good for the price. Chicken paillard was nicely seasoned as well. Staff was accomodating and attentive. Would go here again.

Dreadful service!!! We ordered different dishes and drinks. Food is OK but the servers were rude and pushy.
Different servers rushed us out by keep coming to our table every 5 minutes and asking to take our plates while we were clearly still working on them.
It was only 7:30 pm and not late. They constantly came and asked to take our plates until they made us feel so uncomfortable that we had to leave before finishing our meal.
It was a terrible dinner experience.

I had dinner there before an event of Madison Square Garden.
The bar and dining room are nice. Good amount of TVs in the bar area. Dining seating is mixture of high and low top tables. Comfortable and not too noisy.
The service was friendly and professional.
The food was very good. The pizza was an excellent appetizer the pasta entrees your very good. The portion was slightly on small side

Had an awful day, lost my job and tripped in front of a crowd of people in the street. Needed a drink bad! Luckily I stumbled across Alessa Cucina and not only did the bartender Rachel give me amazing service but she also gave me the kindest pep talk that pretty much saved my life! Feels like I met an angel. I walked out of Alessa that day with a new purpose and a new zest for life!!! I was lacking so much zest before. Also the split was amazing 10/10

Alessa was fantastic! The focaccia, lemon chicken, and diavola pizza were my favorites. Our server Sam was so friendly, always checked in at the right times, and seemed to know exactly what we needed. Also a very cute atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Went for an early dinner with some colleagues on a Thursday evening and the place was absolutely buzzing! Super packed and a little loud by the bar, but thankfully we were seated in the back where conversation was much easier. Bonus points for the happy hour that runs until 8pm—such a win.
We shared a few apps and some pizzas for the table, and everything was delicious. Our waiter was an absolute vibe—fun, attentive, and really made the night. The only downside was the cocktails, which tasted more like juice than a proper drink, so I switched to wine after that (definitely the safer bet).
Overall, great energy, tasty food, and I’m already looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu.
