Played low volume house music during meal. Food was excellent. Servers were so nice. Definitely must try this place. They charge for each refill of soda.

Hard to give enough plaudits to this place. Incredible food (the rigatoni!), incredible drinks, vibes, everything.

Biggest winner is the staff though. There's some amazing folks in Alessa. Incredibly friendly and personable. They will make your night.

Get here, and get here fast.

My fiancé and I had dinner at Alessa and everything was 100000/10!
The food was superb and the vibe was very nice and warm. We started with their focaccia, which was very good! It was warm and crunchy on the outside but very fluffy on the inside. The bread itself was already good, and I knew then that the food was going to be awesome! We then had the Ribeye for 2 and the Bucatini (which I highly recommend! It is now my favorite pasta dish!). Unfortunately, I did not get to take much photos because we just devoured everything. 😅
The staff are very kind, very friendly, attentive, and efficient. Esteban was very knowledgeable and answered our questions with patience and recommended good wine and a tasty dessert (the only item which I managed to take a photo of 😆). Erika is also superb! She welcomed us warmly and made sure that we were well-taken care of~
I definitely recommend Alessa (and already have done so to my friends~) if anyone wants great food and greater service. 😊

Alessa is a gem that seamlessly blends sophistication with a welcoming atmosphere, making it perfect for a working lunch or an elegant dinner. I visited recently with a close friend and colleague, and our experience was nothing short of stellar.

The staff was wonderfully attentive, accommodating my friend’s gluten-free and dairy-free needs with ease. From start to finish, the service was impeccable—present without being intrusive, and always thoughtful.

We began with a selection of small plates that set the tone for an incredible meal. The marinated olives were briny and aromatic, the cauliflower soup was silky with just the right hint of earthiness, and the grilled bread, paired with their rich olive oil, was heavenly. To drink, we both enjoyed the La Vita Bella mocktail, which was as refreshing as it was vibrant.

For mains, my friend opted for the gluten-free Chitarra, a delightful plate of fresh pasta that didn’t sacrifice flavor or texture despite dietary restrictions. I indulged in the Diavola Pizza, a perfect combination of smoky, spicy, and savory with its charred crust and robust toppings. On the side, the broccolini was a standout—perfectly crisp with a subtle char that added depth.

To finish, we had tea and a cappuccino, both enhanced by their house-made vanilla bean honey—a delightful touch that elevated the experience. For dessert, we couldn’t resist sampling all three sorbet flavors: Strawberry Basil, Banana, and Lemon. Each was refreshing, vibrant, and a perfect palate cleanser, but the Strawberry Basil was an unexpected favorite with its herbaceous twist.

Alessa Cucina is not just a restaurant; it’s an experience. From the ceiling to floor decor, to the the thoughtful menu, exceptional service, and warm ambiance make it ideal for any occasion, whether you’re closing deals over lunch or celebrating life’s moments over dinner. Highly recommend!

Last night my friends and I decided to try this new Italian spot conveniently located near Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. Alessa. And everything from the food and drinks, to the ambiance and service exceeded our expectations.
The food was outstanding, highly recommend the rigatoni and the margherita, and the drinks were delicious and well balanced. Their espresso martini is hands down one of the best ever.
The service and ambience were exceptional, with beautiful decor and music that brings you on a journey through South of France and the Mediterranean.
Amazing vibes and great time, thank you Alessa, we will be back soon!

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! We dined at this gem of a restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised by the professional service and delicious food!

Vegetarian options: Having been a vegetarian in the past, there are enough non-meat dishes to comfortably feed a vegetarian. In fact, we ordered and wholeheartedly enjoyed the beetroot salad, arugula salad and omg, the conchiglie & cheese was out of this world! And then of course, the winners for dessert were the pannetone and the tiramisu. Truly, a fine dining experience!
