I am a regular at Alfie's and part of the reason is due to the amazing staff. It is overall a great bar but Al, Marli, Niamh, Tommy, and William make it special every time I go. If anyone is strolling through Hell's Kitchen, I highly recommend making a stop at the best pub in town.
What I love most about Alfie’s is it is a very versatile bar, so it’s always top of my list regardless of my purpose for grabbing a drink. It’s probably the only bar in the area with decent outside space which catches the sun until late, so perfect for people watching and relaxing after work. Inside has a great bar to sit with friends, and the restaurant is perfect for family meals.

Pity they’re illegally charging a 3.5% card payment surcharge - (in NYC, you can offer a discount off advertised prices or advertise both prices but this firm is adding a charge at checkout)
The buffalo chicken salad (apparently only available on weekdays and provided they don’t overcook it) is the main reason to come.
