Alice was a good find. No resurvation so we sat at bar. We prefer the bar. The dining room is nice but the bar has a great vibe. We did not see the back room due to a private party. Pro top: Sit at the far right near the fresh herbs and the speaker Overall: A sensual environment with plants and architectural elements to keep it fresh and immersive Food was good. I wanted the Clam Linguini to have more clam flavor. But it was good.

An upscale place with great food and service. I can't wait to go back. The choices on the menu were so good a deciding was hard. And the specials for the evening made it harder to choose. I ended up with a wide pasta dish with a unique sauce not the usual red tomato base. I want to go back and have it again and see if I can make it myself. This is an Italian restaurant that you should not miss. It is also an elegant place and is great for an intimate dinner. A place where you can really have a quiet conversation. Enjoy.

I’m sure the food would have tasted fine if only it weren’t for the constant waft of sewer smell that distracted me from my meal. My table of 3 was crammed into a corridor unfortunately placed across from the service area where it was constant silverware clanging and a spot that the servers often clustered. It was too small of a table for the three of us. Personally, I wouldn’t go back unless I was able to sit somewhere more secluded from the restaurant front of house central operating area and away from the staircase that absolutely gave bathroom smells our entire time. My friend was also a bit uncomfortable having her shoulder collide with the wooden overhang. Not really worth the visit in that context.

Great food definitely would recommend the pasta. Quick and responsive service, perfect for a quick lunch or dinner with friends. Will be coming back for seconds!

My group from out of town was completely ignored all evening, had to flag staff for refills and orders. That wasn't the case for the tables around us. Food was fine, but being ignored on a special night out sucked. Slow and inattentive service. Big bummer.

Had dinner at Alice last night - in a city of great Italian food, this one is....mediocre. The experience started off rocky - had a reservation for two, and hostess tried to seat us in the enclosed patio area. We declined and asked for seating in the larger back area (behind the bar), but we were told there were no two tops in that area (that turned out to be untrue) - so had to take a table next to hostess stand. Service was a bit slow - but eventually drink orders were taken (they did not have either a sparkling rose or regular rose by the glass - apparently all out). We had the smoked scamorza and carciofa tortina to start - I liked the concept, but the smoked scamorza flavor overwhelmed any flavor of artichoke- so this was a miss. My wife ordered the Bucatini Limone and I had the Agnolotti Cacio e Pepe. The Bucatini suffered from too much colatura and not enough lemon - no balance in this dish. The Agnolotti were very good. Overall - other than the agnolotti, the other dishes either were not prepared properly or were ill-conceived from a flavor perspective. The ambiance was nice, although I would avoid being by the hostess stand (and on that note, despite what the hostess told us, two separate couples were seated soon after us in the area behind the bar - so there are two tops in this location - I think she was paying us back for rejecting the patio area). All in all - not terrible, but at this price point there are so many other better choices in this great city.

Definitely try the Cacio e pepe.

Went with my brother as a second option. What a good decision! The food was delicious. Just wish there was more.. and more, lol. It was a little pricey, but the food and service were up to the price.

Good option for Italian cuisine. Pasta is and service is fairly good. Waiters were nice.

Very loud a lot of young women crowd in back room which would have been ok but food was not great. Pasta with clams had bad fishy clams so it ruined the meal. Salad and broccoli rabe was good. Tried 2 different glasses of wine and just ok. Meal definitely did not justify prices at all.

With a reservation and plenty of tables available, was seated alone outside on the porch, ignored. Left after 15 minutes. Snooty, unprofessional.
