Got the Gothamist on semolina bread 🍞, a pickle, and a bag of chips with rosemary and olive oil flavor. Oh, a canned Illy latte too. It was $38.34 with tax. The pickle was a small sliver and cost 75 cents. It did have some surprising heat to it. The sandwhich had a mild flavor and was fresh. The bread had a good texture. The pesto, 🍋lemon, and sundried tomatoe flavors were milder than expected. The rosemary of the chips was not very noticable. I am glad I got it in advance for supper for my 7 hour train ride 🚊. Better than the dining car options or nothing. Pretty expensive but it is NYC 🗽in a train station. You’re paying for convenience and location. My canned latte was needed on the ride too and I liked the flavor. The line was short and moved fast around noon on a Monday. Staff were friendly and helpful in giving directions of service. You get a pager after you pay- when it buzzes, you pick up your food in the next window. I recommend grabbing a cold sandwhich to go for long rides.

So terrible. How is this company still in business?

Response: If I had such a bad experience you should speak with your employees about their attitudes. And in my experience that comes from the top and trickles down. Perhaps the employees can shed some light with you on “Owner Policies.”

For a place where you’re paying almost $20 a sandwich, you’d expect more, but sadly this wasn’t the case. Staff attentiveness isn’t that great, almost daily, they run out of good bread, and the filling is lackluster. Taste wise, it’s comparable to a deli/bodega, but price wise, you’re better off going to random bodega and paying half the price for a more filling sandwich.

Pretty rude staff and sandwich was unevenly cooked. Give it a miss for breakfast

This has become a weekly staple for me and the Huxley is my favorite. Quality of the ingredients is noticeable and the combination of flavors in their sandwiches is unique and flavorful. Staff is always very friendly and willing to make substitutions, and they are quick with their orders - thanks to the team!

Ordered a cheesesteak sandwich and an Alyssa today. They had a small line but wanted to give it a try as my coworkers brag about these sandwiches often. I was surprised to see how fast we got it. We expected to wait longer as we can see it was getting very busy. Sandwiches were to die for ! Huge & filling. Highly recommend!

This is the second time we have stoped by this food provider located within the Hugh food court. Very busy at lunch time with all the office workers. Today we got here before 12 so decided to try a breakfast sandwich. He had only a couple left so we got a ham and egg sandwich and it was very good.

Really delicious sandwiches (my favorite is the spicy Enzo) but it always takes forever. they need a better system where they prioritize the people in person waiting in line (usually only 1 or two of us) over the online orders for pickup - since you can push those based on expected timing by a couple mins.

They didn’t have ham, onions, the bread was stale. It’s not what I expected. Disappointing.

Regularly in this food court for lunch. Saw a group of guys eating amazing looking sandwich one day and the next time I was here had to try it. We got a hot one with the seeded bread. One of the best Italian sandwiches if my entire life. It was sooo good! I don't get all the hater reviews! Why??

Don't let the sign deceive you. Their menu says cold sandwiches and hot sandwiches. They do not mean warm. I got a very spicy sandwich. I ordered the fratelli which was also supposed to have mozzarella cheese on it which it did not.

Very good sandwiches, service is normally good, although I have had one instance where it was super slow.
