Cashier is confrontational. Cashier is some curly haired kid who tries to act tough. Cashier got confrontational because I smiled when I paid. He thought I was laughing at him. And kept pressing me on why I was laughing? I don't understand what he was trying to prove by acting tough on the upper east side. There's nothing tough about the upper east side! And if you're going to charge me 4$ for az ice tea, don't put the tough guy act on!

THIS PLACE IS A FRAUD THEY GOT MY INFORMATION SOMEHOW AND CHARGED MY CARD MULTIPLE TIMES. i live in indiana and have never been to new York so i have no idea how they are getting the information but just a heads up . im assuming they are some how linked to the other deli given the fact they aren’t to far from each other and both are a deli. charges will be pressed.

The business for Arab people they all very nice and they do very nice sandwiches they use only Boar’s Head meet&cheese the weather very cool inside the store and they make deliveries too , that business open since 1989 with the same owner he is a great person

Do your self a favor and avoid this place like a plague….I went in this morning to grab a egg sandwich and iced coffee.After paying for items, I asked them if they had a garbage for my empty Gatorade that I purchased elsewhere. Never once in my life did I ask a shop if they had a garbage, especially after I bought something, and they tell me I had to disregard an item elsewhere. Therefore, I left the bottle on table and walked away.After that, the owner had the nerves to follow me outside and curse me out: he continues to scream at me even when I was across the street.

The owner of the deli is verbally abusive and aggressive. I went in two weeks ago to buy sandwiches and paid for them, but it was taking long and i was going to miss my train to PA so i asked the person working there if i could come back another day because i was going to miss my train, he said yes. So i go in today to ask if i could use the credit for sandwiches, the guy that was there the night i made the purchase was there but the owner started screaming at me. He said that he wasn't running a charity and kept screaming at me as if i had done something wrong. All i wanted was to ask, i would have understood if he would have simply said that it was too late and that they would not be able to honor the credit. Understandable, but he didn't he kept screaming at me and when the employee that was there the night i made the purchase he told him to shut up because he didn't even know English so to just keep his mouth quiet. I had never in my life been treated so poorly and honestly was afraid for a moment that the owner would try to physically hurt me to kick me out of the deli. When i told him there was no need to scream he said that i was the one screaming at him and told me to get out. I told him that he had lost my business and he said that he didn't want my business, that he's not running a charity and to get out that he didn't want to see me there again. I would never go there again, that is not the way to treat a person, a costumer, a woman. Maybe he felt entitled to scream at me, humiliate me just because i'm a woman when all i had was a question which could have been easily answered politely. He is abusive, aggressive and has a strong temper not adequate to be in a store dealing with people that are actually spending money in his deli. He degrades women and his employees for no reason at all just because he wants to and that is not correct.
