One of the best sandwiches I ever had. Bread was extremely fresh / still hot. Had the Broadway with burrata, pistachio paste, grilled zucchini, sundried tomatoes and arugula. Wasn’t too busy despite weekend around noon.
We wanted sandwiches and randomly found this place. The guys working were so friendly and helpful as we couldn't decide what to order. They also made our food pretty quickly! The sandwiches are huge and we definitely could have split one, but they kept well in the fridge and made a great lunch for the next day. Highly, highly recommend this place if you're in Greenwich Village and in the mood for a sandwich!
I wouldn’t say it was on the same level as the sandwiches in Italy but it came pretty close. Their bread is soft with a crispy exterior, not too thick. Their spreads are creamy perfect for cutting the saltiness of the meat. The Favolosa and the la Dante were both really yummy. I would go for la Dante for a fresher, lighter sandwich and the favolosa for a creamier and more unique flavorful sandwich. Prices are ~$20 per sandwich.
