I was racially profiled at the checkout on 125th. The security guard named Brandon approached me as I was paying for my items, invaded my space and accused me of stealing. I will never shop here again

I placed an order at 12 noon and the only available delivery window they had was from 8pm to 10pm. Im waiting and watching the app for updates, no updates. At 10:11 pm when i called wholefoods customer service I was told to call amazon, they then told me I see your order was canceled. How do you have someone sit up and wait for a delivery and then you dont send notifications, then you cancel the order with out notifying via text or a phone call. Them they say you will receive your refund in 3 to 5 days what type of non sense is this. I didnt cancel the order the store did at the last minute. I will never order from wholefoods again. Very disappointed.

This hasn’t been opened in 2 years. They should take this post down.

This is the worst WF I have visited, and I have been to many. Poorly run store. Not enough checkout personnel. Don’t go from 4-7, likes are too long, all two of them. Stocking is also an issue. Competition needed ASAP. Trader Joe’s can’t come fast enough.

Really shocked as to why this place only has a 2 star rating? I've always loved whole foods. They got some really good deals at times, and I like their selection of produce. I like how you have an option for organic or not.Hopefully they stick around, definately my favorite store.

Since we all need to wear masks in the store now, I was horrified to see two Amazon shoppers with masks hanging off. I realize it's hard to work with it on all the time, but this should be taken seriously. When I went to mention it to security, I see him with his masked pulled down as well and speaking right next to another employee with mask off! What is happening in this store! Not coming back!

Last night around 8 PM. The store had been completely ransacked, all shelves bare and no stocking going on at all. But worse: Someone had decided it was a good idea to close down 50% (or more) of the registers, thereby forcing people to stand jammed into each other to access the few open registers. They simply closed an entire block of registers and stationed a security guard to prevent people from populating the area. There weren't even so many people in the store, a reason we elected to go at this time. Those who were in the store were forced joined the crush at the registers - not good. I guess the management of this Whole Foods missed the recent advisories, and/or just went ahead with what would be easiest for them. I wondered whether they were even within the law. Lawsuits waiting to happen and they would be justified. I wonder if anyone got pictures of the mob scene, everyone packed in.

Customer service is horrible at this location. Cashiers routinely make errors. Of the 5 times I was there in the last 2 weeks (between 02/24/20 and 03/06/2020), on three occasions there were errors and I eventually got the item free. On 2 of the 3 times, the error was, the cashier typed in the code of the item instead of scanning the barcode, which brought up an incorrect, higher price. I went to manager, highlighted the mistake and got the item for free. Other occasion an error occurred, cheese was advertised as being on SALE, yet the cheese DID NOT list the sale price (fyi,..this is a common error at this location) but the non-sale/higher price. In addition to the cashiers, the food section customer service is terrible. Ask the folks behind the counter about the food items featured and it's rare they are aware. And they never then offer a sample if curious. The bakery, specifically the bread is another issue. I always get half of whatever bread. 70% of the time they calculate half-price incorrectly. And like the food section, are UNAWARE of the loaves for sale. (The tall, slim, older man is an exception in the bakery. He is well-informed, courteous and willing to help.) I still continue to shop here as it's in my neighborhood. And I continue to complain they need to train staff. Service at the Columbus Circle location is far better. It's like a 'real' Whole Foods.

I'm happy that we have a Whole Foods in the Harlem area I just wish that checkout can be faster when it's packed. But if yo I go when it's not busy it's fine. I would also like to see a better hot bar usually when I go in there it looks like scraps . With the price that you pay for the lb it's not OKAY!! But other than that they have the best NON GMO vegan chocolate chip cookies when they are crispy and soft . Will be back lol

STILL a HOT MESS! Honestly, it is never going to change. Today's update: out of most items. Long lines. Scales don't work. Dirty, disorganized and rude counter service. It's a shame it's in Harlem.

Their lines are slow and they prepared food is catered to a certain type of culture. All fried fish, chicken wings, Mac and cheese etc. you get my drift.

I know Whole Foods for the quality around the nation. I went to this Whole Foods and was shocked. While trying the soup someone accosted me regarding trying multiple flavors. I couldn't believe that after I was given multiple sample cups. It was a weird situation and three people grouped up around me and made me feel like a criminal. I have never felt like this in my life especially after all of the GREAT experiences I have had before at Whole Foods.

Extremely underwhelming. My sister and I are obsessed with Whole Foods. If you know us in real life, Whole Food is engraved in our DNA. It was one of the places we first searched before getting to NY. So you can imagine our surprise when we got there and everything looked dishevelled. The hot food bar: DON'T. Seriously don't unless you're literally the first person to walk in in the morning to grab food. We made it later in the day and it looked like the food had not been rotated in hours. Granted I don't condone throwing food out but there are literally 50 homeless people outside looking for a decent meal and the food here could have been put to good use. Produce: There's a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, organic items to pick from if planing to cook at home. Just be mindful of what your selecting because everything looks suspect. There isn't a wide variety of drinks to pick from in the water/juice section. Just a bit of odds and ends here and there. There's a MASSIVE natural homeopathic remedies, candles, body care, scents to pick from. With that also comes the expensive price tag. To think I'd have to pay $12.99 American for candle that would cost me $8.99 in Canada for the same exact product is just a plain ripoff. Tourists need to be mindful when purchasing items because sometimes it's not worth it. Bakery: stale. Some of those cookies look like they been sitting. Which is unfortunate because again, they could have gone to use before they got to that state. Customer service here is very wishy washy. The first day we came and got groceries, the ladies at cash were super friendly. Small talk, a few compliments and giggle. The second day we dropped in for coffee, the girls working the bakery were not exactly the most pleasant and their eye rolls weren't welcomed either.

Always running out of something!! Whole Foods why y'all never got two things that match ? Chile the ghetttoooo. The fresh produce section is always subpar. The leafy greens look like a wilted mess. Why no scotch bonnet peppers ever ? I will say their basic meats and seafood are always fresh. That's about the only positive. Trader Joes has way more variety at a reasonable price--especially in the frozen sections. I wish there were some good farmer's markets in the area.

This order is for Whole Food Prime Amazon delivery and not the store. I ordered to have my groceries delivered in the time frame between 7-9 pm from this location. So what does one do? Wait at home expecting a delivery as promised. Then it hits 8:45pm....nothing. So I give a call to this whole foods to hear them say "It isn't prepared yet." And then I call the customer service line, and they say "the driver is on its' way! He will be there in 10 mins!" Two very contradicting stories.... so I wait. And then the icing on the cake was, I got an email shortly thereafter saying "YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN CANCELED" and then I call AGAIN, and they say they don't know who canceled and cannot do anything about it, but hey "here is a $10 credit". What a joke of a customer service. They are very dysfunctional and don't know what they are doing. Please avoid this supermarket and their unreliable service.
