Tomato sauce on ravioli was extremely spicy. Maybe the regular chef was not in that night. Dip for breadsticks had no flavor. Breadsticks themselves were stale. Have dined there many times, and this dinner was not their best.

This is our favorite restaurant in NYC. The food is carefully prepared and the Bronzino was outstanding . The wine list is beyond extensive. Paolo, the owner, is very friendly and is focused on customer satisfaction as well as his staff. We highly recommend Altesi.

Coat was stolen while eating Thanksgiving dinner. They did not inform me til after we paid the $500 bill plus tip. We felt like it was an inside job. They made no effort to compensate us in any way. I honestly was surprised at the lack of caring that a coat was stolen in their restaurant. Food was okay but over priced. For such an expensive restaurant, I am still amazed there was no compensation of any kind. If you still decide to try this restaurant, I would keep your coat with you.
