There were not many places open on Christmas Eve in New York City and I knew that this deli, now named the "9th Avenue Gourmet Deli", its third name change in five years, would be open. It was really busy that evening because everyone had the same idea. I ordered a Cheeseburger Platter, which was a large hamburger patty that was perfectly cooked and served with a large side of fries. I had the Chicken Fingers that was a nice sized portion of nicely breaded breast meat that was perfectly fried out also served with a large portion of fries. The portion sizes here are really large. The service was really nice and is always so friendly and organized. It is a great place for breakfast too.

Sorry I don't have any photos for the sandwich I had but that's a good thing because if there's nothing left to take a photo of that means it was good I just grabbed a regular long roll. Salami pepperoni ham lettuce olives jalapenos mayonnaise mustard toasted they would cut it wrapped it it was $12 it tasted good I ate the whole thing so I give you five star and the service was great the very friendly

Been going here for a very long time and I have to say the cashiers are nice, the store is clean and the food is so delicious especially the bacon egg and cheese.
Used to be a good place to get a bacon egg and cheese on a roll in the morning. Not sure what kind of bacon they switched to a couple of months ago, but the sandwich is inedible. Can't even bite into it. The bacon is like eating a baseball glove. Tough and comes off the sandwich together ripping everything apart. Not a good way to start the day.

I’m sorry to say that, but after buying a roll at this place my friend was sick for another 2 days, and after I came there and complained (very nice way) I just asked them to check freshness of the food, other day the old man who cook said that I stole something and told me to not do that anymore (what?:)) and another day he was screaming at me in Spanish and asked his coworker to not serve me anymore, and said that he will call someone , guys, if you not ready to hear and fix your mistakes what kind of business do you have. Buy the way I’m just young women, who usually have no fight with people, I’m respectful and loyal. Why I have to stand by this. I want peace. Good luck.

I love going to Am-Pm Deli. It is this 24 hour a day business that makes the best stick to your ribs type food and the business attracts everyone from the artists to the construction workers. The food is excellent at very fair prices and there is a lot to choose from. I had a French Toast platter and they give you a nice sized breakfast. I had three large pieces of toast ( nixed the side of bacon and eggs) and everything was perfectly cooked. There were four generous slices that were caramelized and had a hint of cinnamon. It is fun to sit inside and just watch the neighborhood go by.
