There were not many places open on Christmas Eve in New York City and I knew that this deli, now named the "9th Avenue Gourmet Deli", its third name change in five years, would be open. It was really busy that evening because everyone had the same idea. I ordered a Cheeseburger Platter, which was a large hamburger patty that was perfectly cooked and served with a large side of fries. I had the Chicken Fingers that was a nice sized portion of nicely breaded breast meat that was perfectly fried out also served with a large portion of fries. The portion sizes here are really large. The service was really nice and is always so friendly and organized. It is a great place for breakfast too.

Sorry I don't have any photos for the sandwich I had but that's a good thing because if there's nothing left to take a photo of that means it was good I just grabbed a regular long roll. Salami pepperoni ham lettuce olives jalapenos mayonnaise mustard toasted they would cut it wrapped it it was $12 it tasted good I ate the whole thing so I give you five star and the service was great the very friendly

Amazing food!! Deff hits the spot every single time! Super generous with their daily meats within the sandwiches and they taste fresh. They are quick, so regardless of the amount of people ahead of you, the wait isn't long at all.

Hidden gem! Stopped by and tried the 37 street sub..it was well worth the drive! The portions were perfect! Incredibly flavorful ! Last but not least, the service was top notch and the establishment was extremely clean. I will be back for more!

So much better under the new manager! That's the spot to be whenever I visit the city. The lunch menu is great and I always recommend the chicken cutlet sandwich. Also their fresh juices are great!
