Amano is worth the visit for three reasons. The first, its impeccable location. Just steps from west fourth and in the heart of the Village, the cast of characters is never short of show stopping and the conversations are enlightening to say the least. The second— bangin’ coffee. But thirdly, and most importantly, the staff. What a homey and welcoming atmosphere, where you can come and kiki with the best of them. Some are charming and chill, topped with baseball caps and ready...
I love starting my day at Amano. The cappuccino is consistently excellent, and Jennifer—the incredible barista—makes the experience even better. She clearly takes pride in her craft and won’t serve anything less than perfect. Her attention to detail and warm energy make every visit a pleasure. Thank you! 😊
Good flavor to the flat white. No drip coffee was available. Tip: if you leave a review you might get a thank you free coffee email the next day (not advertised in store or elsewhere as an incentive, thankfully). Good barista art.
