Absolutely delicious food, prompt and friendly service -- and they put a beautiful, sparkling candle on my son's chocolate cake, since it was his birthday. This restaurant is a gem.
Not our first time there. Just as good as we remembered. It was a cold Saturday evening, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. From the drinks to the appetizers and pasta mains, everything was outstanding. will be back soon.
Food was delicious. The lights need to be dimmer. It's very bright and it was very cold. But overall great neighborhood spot
Amata is my standby for lunch and dinner with friends and prospects. Chris Dorian is a master.
This restaurant was crowded on a Wednesday night - a sign of a solid ambiance and delicious food. And we were not disappointed. Our party of six were delighted with the hospitality shown by the restaurant owners and waiter staff and the food was delicious. This is clearly a neighborhood gem. So delighted we had the experience...
Great food, great service. Was unsure about the booking, but as soon as I walked in and saw the vibe that it would be a great place.
We were waiting to see a show next door and slipped in for a quick drink. It turned out to be one of the best parts of the night,if not our entire 4 days in the city. Such great hosts! I wish I had gotten the bartender's name. He was welcoming, friendly and had great conversation. The other patrons were obviously regulars and made us feel the same. I will definitely go back.

Wonderful very peaceful inside an all the staff was very nice next time they should just tell you that you pay for sparkling water for $12 I wouldn't of got it
Definitely need to come back on a snow-less night! Great food but the restaurant was very quiet. Would love to see the place when it's packed!

Stay home and eat !!! Don’t waste your money here. One of the worst Italian meals I’ve ever had. At a dinner party with over 100 people tonight. They practically threw the food at us for $80 p/p it was insulting. My 10 year old makes better pasta. I had chicken Milanaise I could barely cut it because it was so over cooked. I asked the waiter how the chocolate cake was. He said it’s old and dry.OMG !!!! They served my desert family style so everyone ate what I ordered before I had any.
I always say it’s hard to find a bad restaurant in Manhattan…… Well, tonight, I found one !!!

This is a great place. Have been here many times. The food is terrific and fairly priced. The specials are the best. The staff are helpful and friendly and fun. It's mainly a neighborhood place but I come up from FIDI for great evenings.
Rude treatment for the 2nd time Will not return Told that there were too many reservations to give us a table away from a very loud large party in a semi private back room When about to leave, they "found" a small 2 top in the center of the restaurant when larger tables for 4 were empty and given to walkins
it took us 20 minutes to get the check and we kept getting ignored. the food was fine but vibes were not
My wife and I have had dinner for three years now at least twice a month. We are never disappointed with the quality of the meals that we have had there. The staff is amazingly efficient and friendly. It is truly a neighborhood gem. Our go to entrée is the chicken martini and they have a pasta dish Da Nona which is spectacular.
