You cannot imagine what AMAZING means to me. Years ago when I was making jewelry, one of the dealers that I frequented on Mulberry St. recommended AMAZING for lunch. I tried it and ate there for at least fifteen years ! My husband went to Dr. LU the acupuncturist on Canal St. every Friday, and then we would lunch at AMAZING, every week for at least eight years ! About FORTY TIMES A YEAR !! Great waitstaff, who knew what we wanted before we did. And the Peking pork chops , and the roast chickens, and the ducks tongues, . While traveling New York, my daughter and i came here on foot from Union square to here, and this restaurant was worth it. It was around 2pm and there was no line at all and few tables were occupied. We ordered several dim sum and they were very delicious and chewy. The tea which was on the house was gorgeous that it reminded me as i stayed in Hong Kong.However, i really missed the dim sum cart to see whatever i choose.

Been going to this place for years and they have consistently delivered amazing dishes. We start our annual tradition of celebrating lunar new year with dinner at Amazing 66! In addition to good food, the staff is friendly. I recommend this place.

This was our mainstay when we didn't plan other dinners, and our Thanksgiving dinner. Great meals. When I went with the less adventurous, there was plenty of American style Chinese. But most of the patrons we saw were Asian. The soups were great. I note some of the other reviews note that it was expensive. I beg to differ. They just didn't understand that this place is family style eating. Not everybody orders a platter. You order like one soup for the table, and a few platters and everyone shares. And that was without stuffing you with rice filler that most commercial Chinese restaurants do. I saw some tables had rice, but we never bothered. As such, for the best meals we had in New York City were here. And yes, on the last day we broke down and had the Peking Duck. They always made sure you had plenty of tea at the table.
